Pretty great!Posted Jul 11, 2014
Lively island, pretty small in island size and the lodge we stayed in. But great food and activities to do!

Very expensive for what it is!Posted Jul 3, 2014
You have to pay for mask, snorkel, kayak...Everyday, a hord of day trippers arrive, you have to queue to eat and try to find a commune table. You feel like a cash machine on this island. Only 7 beach matresses for all the customers and day trippers. No tour organized such as village visit or fishing. Lazy staff, information about tide times for example two days late, and all this for 324 FJ$ per person per day.

Very peaceful and beautiful but very run down. Accom us basic but location of ocean front bure so nice, especially hammock. Food not great and set menu package over priced. Bring snacks and drinks. Staff so lovely and accommodating.

Location: Beautiful island location!
From the moment we stepped on to this amazing little island we fell in love with it! My husband and our 4 children spent 5 nights on Bounty Island and we wish we had booked 7 nights. The beachfront bures are just that. We found all the staff very friendly and the food was lovely. Loved happy hour every day at 5pm too! We will definitely be returning to bounty island!

An island gem!Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: It was rustic which added to the authentic island experience!
Cons: More scheduled activities - such as crab races, nightly entertainment (dancers??), markets (for souveniers)
Location: 35 min boat ride from Denaurau marina - perfect
A random internet search found us at Bounty Island....so glad it did! What a surprise it was. Don't get me wrong, it is rustic and basic, but this only ads to your island adventure. Immediately stepping off the boat, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to get to know you. The waterfront bures are exactly that, right on the waters edge....perfect! The bures are basic and abit 'slapped' together but its all you need - we didn't spend much time in there. The colour of the water is amazing, the sand is white and soft, the palm trees are abundant with fresh coconuts - a perfect Fiji picture. Plenty of activities to keep you occupied - snorkelling, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, relaxing - kids loved it! The pool is nothing special but our kids were the only kids on the island so had it to themselves...but the pacific waters makes up for that! The staff made the kids feel special and loved having them there. The food is great - bit pricey for the package, but no other alternatives (take lots of snacks if travelling with kids).

Great timePosted Apr 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great island. One of the closer islands to the main land. Lots of activities in the day. Day trips from the mainland come each day for lunch and snorkeling and relaxing so it gets busy in the day but them quiets down in the evening.

Budget resort with poor servicePosted Feb 14, 2014
Quiet island with beachfront bures that offer fantastic views. The resort is still recovering from a cyclone so the beach and coral are not as nice as they once were. But the staff was a disappointment. Not very friendly, and we weren't told in advance that the water pipeline was broken, which meant no potable water. The only option was to buy bottled water from the bar.

Beautiful ,friendly islandPosted Jan 29, 2014
Location: Close to Fiji main Island, only half an hour by boat. Time to relax, snorkel, walk, scuba, paddle board, kajaking, or did I mention relax!
On arriving by boat you get a welcome song, from then on its Fiji Time. The island is stunning , we walked around it in 30 minutes.the bure was waters edge , you woke up to the sound of the sea every morning. The food was excellent and freshly prepared. And the staff, well, I've never felt more welcome anywhere before. I could go on ..... You have to visit ...
