“Pure Heaven”

We chose this retreat for exactly that...we wanted to get away from it all. Being 2 hrs drive from either Nadi or Suva this is NOT the place to come if you are wanting to shop or do sightseeing. Crusoes Retreat offer an airport shuttle service (check price). It was relaxed, low key and extremely good value for money. We were there Dec/Jan 2011 (rainy season) and it rained 3 times...when it did it was either for 2 hrs from approx 4pm or very early morning (5am). Make sure you choose the menu package - best value for money. Fabulous food and evening menu changes every day. They also accommodate food allergies. There are activities at various times of the day if you which to participate and fun evenings (suitable for everyone) after dinner. Treat yourself to a deluxe bure as these have air conditioning units. Fijian massage along the BEACH FRONT (done by Mary) is an absolute must FD$40 cash. Hair braiding also available here. Grassed badminton/tennis/volley ball areas, kayaks. mangrove trips, water activities plus more. This is truly the place to come if you are seeking a place to 'blob' out and do nothing. Thoroughly recommend as "value for money" and we will be going back.Why wait.....treat yourself to the true Fijian experience at Crusoe's Retreat.

“Perfect place to relax and unwind - Loved it!”

Crusoe's Retreat was the perfect honeymoon destination for us. It was very quiet and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. If you are after somewhere to go to relax and unwind, then this is the place. The staff are also very, very friendly and helpful. They are also very happy to talk about life in their village which can be very insightful. I would highly recommend Crusoe's and will be going back.

“what a shame”

Well where do you start A management team that gave the impression they would rather not be there Bottom sheet had holes in it which made easy to see that they had not been change for five days we where there Room furniture that was broken Basically it is old and need a make over To get to main road you are charge $7.00 fjd because they want you to book all your transport with them eg $160 fjd for two pax to Suva local bus $13.40 Food was only avegage when compare to next resort we stay at. The staff where friendly but lack the professional you expected eg took half hour to take our breakfast order when there only 5 customer in restaurant Best part was all the guest bonded together because there was little else To give idea of cost of food and drink for basic 2 people $884fjd for 4 nights From Nadi airport to resort nearly 3 hour
