Serviced apartment right on the beach!!

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Staff, beach and pool, easy transport
Cons: Saw a cockaroach or two in the rooms
Location: Right on the beach, with water sports on the beach, can take the bus to town or other hotels for a cheap price. There are also activities in the hotel
Beautiful hotel stretching along the beach. Staff incredibly helpful, and extremely friendly, never more than a call away. Rooms were very nice, and always cleaned perfectly. Yellow and Bula bus right from outside the hotel made transport super easy. The hotel restaurants were great. Overall, comfort for an entire week.

For those looking for all inclusive Resort

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Food - mixture of Asian and local. Fresh and delicious beautifully prepared and presented.
Cons: Could have a more streamlined and efficient check in and check out process. The main theme was organised chaos....
Location: 8 klm from Nadi airport. Marina with restaurant and shops nearby and access to day trips, etc.
Great resort for just vegging. Well staffed, good amenities & pools, great food, beautiful people. But like all resorts, food, drink and spa is relatively expensive. The nearby marina has a good selection of restaurants at more reasonable prices.

Great hotel for couples or families.

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Nice rooms and great views.
Cons: I dont like paying for wireless, and strangely there was nowhere in the rooms to put clothes down if you wanted to change,
Location: On the beach, watersports at the Sofitel next door. Some activities like kayaking and sailing were free. Catch the Westbus into Nadi for a look around
Excellent quality hotel right on the beach with great facilities, food and relaxing. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Pools were nice. I think all rooms overlooked the beach. Restaurants and bars were good quality, all in all a great place to stay. They offered a good range of entertainment and activities for both adults and kids. Excellent breakfast buffet included. I would recommend walking to the marina (about 10-15 minutes) as an alternative place to eat for a change, or down to the Gold and racquets club for a game of gold or tennis and a drink or meal. Watersports are right next door so very close by, or just have a swim on the beach.

Entertainment & cost

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Casual
Cons: Reduce food and drink prices. Guests eat elsewhere because of the prices therefore the restaurants look empty which is not good.
Location: good location on the best part of the beach. Good watersports hire.
Food prices are extortionate & food in the main restaurant is poor. Food A la carte restaurant is good. Eat breakfast there. Generally, go to Marina to eat where there is lots of variety and good atmosphere. It is in walking distance, or catch a taxi as cheaper than Bular Bus for single trip. Music at Hilton only on 3 nights. Best entertainment was the Sheraton. Recommend everyone wander up there each night.

Nice beach front accomodation

Posted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: Location of the rooms next to the beach.
Location: Location wise it is same as other resorts on Denarau. Waterpark nearby good for kids/families. Marina/Port is good for choice of restaurants and view
Wonderful stay at Hilton Resort...it stretches along the beach so I think all apartments have beach front view. Beach is not good at all and I hardly saw 1-2 people in the water over 4 days. But same applies to all the resorts on that island. Facilities are good. Staff is friendly.

Fantastic Holiday

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Free Kayaking, stand up boards, variety of pools, location, staff and beautiful lush grounds with frangipani and jacaranda etc.
Cons: Bula Bus cost as a stage fare. $8 too much for a 5 minute journey.
Location: Nadi town. Hindu temple. Port Denerau. Access to Islands close. Kayaking, stand up boards. Swimming. Shopping.
Staff made the stay by being friendly. If we needed anything they were only too happy to help to make our stay a great experience. Room was clean and modern. They cleaned our room each day with a turn down service each evening including chocolates on the beds. Facilities for brilliant including pools, gym, kayaking etc. Food at the hotel restaurants was yum. Transport ran from hotel to local towns right outside the hotel lobby. 10/10 holiday.

Best view but beware of the charges

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: View, not too crowded.
Cons: Improve the efficiency of buggy pick up
Location: Location is good within all other resorts. Be sure to book a corelcats day tour directly from their site. My best tip to you.
Good: I took the bula bus to visit all other resorts and found that this hotel has the best pools with view. I enjoyed water basketball! My baby also enjoyed the kids pool. They have a kid club and I saw some babies were left there, the baby sitter was very good. Bad: I called for the buggy to pick me up twice but had to wait over 15 mins twice, it is better to walk (take about 10 mins) or catch a buggy pass by while walking. The kid meal was free when I signed my bill at two different restaurants within the hotel. However, at checkout, they charged the kid meal price but did not reveal the details. Lucky I was not in hurry and checked the bill at checkout. How can it be a mistake when the bill I signed in the restaurant was different from the bill I got when I checkout?

Holiday/second honeymoon

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: first time staying so everything was great. Location, staff, facilities
Cons: All bar staff trained in making the cocktails on offer and maybe reassess the pricing of them.
Location: oohlala (I think that was the name. It's a new cruise to an island) snorkeling cruise. Was fantastic day
Fantastic hotel couldn't fault the staff with their service and friendliness

Fiji Hilton

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: The pools are the best on the Island
Cons: The Cocktails were very average at best they have an issue with Minor birds hanging around scavenging food. They're a nuisance
Another great stay of R&R. The facilities are 2nd to none, and the staff are excellent. everything was outstanding again, excepting the beverage side. they really do need to sort that out

Great location.

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Location was great, transportation to the marina was good, hotel staff, excellent.
Cons: 1. Need to have a mirror in the master bathroom that is not 3 feet away. Hard to see to put on makeup. 2. Instructions for all the kitchen equipment.
Location: Marina is nearby for food, day trips, shopping. Also other hotels you can visit using the Bula Bus (8 Fijian dollars for the day) unlimited.
Expedia needs to ask if you want to pay for the room since the flight leaves at 9:30 pm. We ended up paying for a half day , they did let us check in early. I would recommend the villas to anyone staying for more than a few days. The Hilton was the only hotel with a beach. Also the adult only pool was great, no children. Checking in was a little hectic, as on their lobby screens it advertises room upgrades, but when you ask about them, they either don't have them or try and upgrade you for a day or two then move back to your room reserved. You need to be a Hilton honors gold or higher to actually use this benefit, unless you want to pay lots of money. The person checking us in actually disappeared in the back and left us standing and we had to start all over with another hotel employee for check in. What I didn't like was there were no instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, dishwasher, etc. OK for Australians/New Zealand's but we were not used to the items. Mirror in the master bathroom needed to be closer so you could see. No consistency with cleaning staff, one day, towels, soap, plastic bags in trash, next day, not the same Did not know in advance that they provided coffee, milk , etc I brought my own coffee and creamer and took it back with me. Use the Bula bus if going out more than once, otherwise take a taxi ($7 Fijian $) one way and yellow small bus back ($1 Fijian $) Bula bus from the marina the Hilton is the last stop so it takes about 30 minutes.
