Grand Easten Labasa 6 day stayPosted Sep 26, 2012
Pros: The staff and pool.
Cons: The furnishings are now run down and the bathroom should be renovated.
Location: right in down however the large sugar mills next to the town does emit quite noxious smells at times.
The room was very clean. The bathroom was average. One day, the water supply stopped working. The swimming pool had a REALLY nice temperature but the floor of the pool was darkened. Their food was quite good. The toilet in our room was blocked one day however, the staff were really nice and friendly. As the hotel is located next to the sugar mill, it can sufffer from some pretty nasty smells.

Reasonable optionPosted Aug 21, 2011
Hotel was reasonably comfortable. Large rooms. A bit noisy. Biggest drawback was lack of internet access even though advertised that internet access was available.

Great location, beautiful river by the side. The place is screeming for a renovation. The bed, the pillows and the bathroom. The pool is getting renovated at least but my husband was there this time last year and the pool was getting renovated then too. The reception area and the dinning room just look up and a good paint jop will do. This was my first trip to labasa and for labasa I think you guys still do a very good job.
