beautiful place to experience a holiday

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: The close proximity to the beach, very nice rooms, excellent restaurant, beautiful outlook through the palm trees.
Cons: It is perfect
Location: The location is not too far from the main island, an easy ferry ride. There are activities available if you wish to do them.
Amazingly beautiful place to stay. There were activities to do, or just soak up the surroundings, we walked, cooled off in the pool, swam at the beach, enjoyed the peacefulness, relaxed in the lovely surroundings, etc. The friendly, gracious staff were not only respectful, pleasant and kind, but beautiful in their gentleness. Their singing on arrival and at departure were a touching gift to us.

Beautiful small resort

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Small, friendly staff, good facility.
Cons: A rotating menu at the restaurant.
Location: Great small island about 50min from main island. Very calm ocean bay, heavily protected. All the standard ocean play available nearby.
Lomani is really two resorts in one. The beachfront bure rooms are fantastic. They are detached rooms, with a private deck, lawn area and beach access. Room is open and airy, fantastic place to stay. For two nights, we were in a deluxe suite. This room is nice enough, but quite a step down from the beachfront bure. Room was a little stuffy, a bit frayed around the edges. It still was a nice experience, but if you can afford it, go for the bure. It is worth the extra expense. Restaurant was nice, staff was all very friendly and helpful. The resort has an array of excursions available, and their location is close to some great water activities. Shuttle to the main island is clean and simple. All and all we had a great time.

Gorgeous resort and location

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Cons: The lunch menu.
We had a fantastic time in Lomani. We stayed in a beachfront bure, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were friendly and helpful and we felt completely relaxed since the minute we arrived and were greeted with a fresh coconut juice. We are very active people, but for a 3 night stay we found a lot of stuff to do and weren't bored for a second of it. The only minor downside was some of the food - the restaurant menu was quite resctricted and the lunch options were frankly rather dull. Dinner was great though. And they gave us all the meals for free because of the construction works of another restaurant! That made our whole stay really good value.

Relaxing in paradise

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: friendly staff and service, beautiful landscape.
Cons: refresh room ambience, furniture.
Location: Perfect location with good connections to Nadi. Excellent snorkeling, relaxing on the beach or using many resort activities - kayaking, bike riding
We were greeted by friendly staff and offered cold coconut at arrival, which was a lovely touch. The room (deluxe) was clean and very comfortable but with basic facilities. One thing that we didn't like was the enclosed bathroom which didn't have natural ventilation and had stale air. Step out of the room and you are in paradise, surrounded by immaculately landscaped lawn with elegant coconut trees. The sandy beach was clean but quite shallow, so we enjoyed every opportunity to go snorkeling on nearby reef which was spectacular. The sunset on the beach or on the deck of your room or the restaurant was amazing.

Great Honeymoon Location

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: Everything, there was nothing not to like
Cons: If we had to pay for meals it might have got a bit pricey for us, luckily we didn't due to the construction work.
Location: A beautiful island, and you can get trips out snorkling, surfing, take a trip to cloud 9. Jetski tours, village visits, relaxing :)
Absolutely stunning place, just beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The ground are maintained perfectly and it so peaceful and relaxing. There was a bit of construction going on while we were there, they are building a new restaurant, which meant we got free meals, which was a great bonus, the construction noise wasn't bad and it didn't bother us at all. And the food was amazing, there was nothing we had which we didn't like, everything was just fantastic. The staff are so friendly and nice, they are just beautiful people. We stayed on Denarau before we came here and thought that nice, but when we got to Lomani, it just blew Denarau out of the water. It was the perfect place to finish off our honeymoon.

Fantastic Resort, with absolutely wonderful staff

Posted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: Quality of staff, Very relaxing , with the option to explore the surroundings, or just laze the days away in a beautiful, picturesque environment
Cons: Variety of Restaurants
Everything that was written about the place was true. We have travelled to a number of other 4-5 star resorts and Lomani was well up there - the staff are delightful, and they are very attentive. For example, one of the excursions we had booked in was cancelled and we hadn't been told. We turned up, expecting to go reef snorkelling, but it had been replaced with the shell village tour. No big deal, but the Manager insisted on providing complimentary cocktails for dinner. A really nice touch, and these little surprises happened regularly. Plenty to also see in the neighbouring resorts, although you wont want to spend to much time out of Lomani (far superior) The setting is beautiful, nice sized pool and pretty good snorkelling off the reef. Highly recommend - you wont be disappointed !!!!!

Amazing resort...PURE BLISS

Posted Mar 3, 2015
After spending 3 weeks in America my husband and I decided to end our trip with 6 relaxing days in Fiji and we spent 5 of those at Lomani Island Resort. From the moment we got picked up to the moment we left, our time at Lomani was pure bliss and we had the most relaxing break. You could keep busy if you wanted with lots of FREE inclusions such as a dolphin safari, snorkelling, bush walks or travel to other islands or you could just relax by the pool or on the beach ( which by the way felt like your own private beach most of the time ) We were lucky enough to have all our meals included in our room rate and the meals were all delicious and were of great quality. The staff...well where do I start. From management to waiters/waitresses to housekeeping to activity staff..each and every one of them were like angels and the most AMAZING and FRIENDLY people. Not once did someone pass without a BULA accompanied by an amazing smile. They knew our names by the 2nd day and we also got to know them with lots of conversation taking place with each and every one of them. They made our stay there very special and made us feel like we were part of their family. Because of this, we will DEFINITELY be returning to Lomani in the future. I also indulged in a sugar scrub which was great and we had a couples massage not far from the beach at sunset....pure bliss. VINAKA VILI, to you and your AMAZING staff and keep up the GREAT work. See you soon

A gift for the soul

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: all
Cons: milk shakes
Location: as above
My brother and daughter and I Spent a week at this hotel. We Had a long 18 hr. trip, which was grueling!, but well worth every minute. My brother's boss gave this trip to him(us) as a bonus for all the hard and extra work he had been doing. He works in N.Dakota in the Oil Fields.!8 hr. days are nothing to him with only short naps. I lost my husband last May and we had been planning to go for a Dive trip, but never made it. We had scheduled to go for Feb !., and my S. Father passed away before we went. Needless to say a true healing time was in desperate need--Guess What? It worked, and we 3 are all much better in our Minds and Souls. The staff was excellent ! The food was amazing and we will all be going back to Lomani. We all feel as if we just made friends turn into a Family that we had to leave behind. This resort is especially for couples, but if you just have a friend and need to relax, this is THE PLACE TO GO! Food shopping and gifts for home are only a short walk down the beach. The sunsets are out of this world! (picture perfect beautiful) Lots of things to do, and many amenities! We had tears in our eyes when they all came out to play their guitar and sing to us a beautiful "goodbye" song. I asked if you had to sing to work there, because you hear singing from the time you wake up, and it is beautiful. I do not have 1 bad thing to say except the milk shakes needed more "ice cream"All :)
