Beautiful location and so relaxingPosted Jan 16, 2014
Pros: Location - close to everything and yet you feel very secluded. Daily activities and tours Spacious rooms Staff friendliness
Cons: The room we stayed in the bathroom was quite aged and some things did need replacing. I believe this isn't the case for all rooms.
Location: Location was the best part of this resort as it was tucked up one end of the island however still so close to all other facilities on the island
Lomani resort is definitely a tropical paradise. On arrival the first thing that struck us was the incredible colour of the water and friendliness of the staff. The resort itself is tucked up one end of planation island and although very close to all other facilities you do feel very secluded. The resort only has 26 rooms on it occupied by adults only and at most times of the days you rarely see a lot of people therefore, you feel you have the resort to yourself. All accommodation is extremely close to the water and have great outlooks. There is a lot of free activities offered to guests at Lomani and tours daily. These are fantastic and great value. Watersports activities such as paddle boarding, kaiaking etc are on tap all day and with few people on the island you rarely have to wait to use these. The best thing about Lomani is you have no choice but to relax! Amazing part of the world and well worth a visit.

Great romantic getaway!Posted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a great time, a wonderful beach burre, and a terrific snorkel & boat tide to see the dolphins by Carly! The massage by Selena was heavenly & the activities director took great care to fulfill our requests! The food at the restaurant was quite good too! The infinity pool had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Island perfectionPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The staff (Sevu, Lucy + Finau especially). Adults only.
Cons: Price for food and alcohol.
Location: Boat trips around the other islands Snorkeling + diving Cloud Break (surf spot)
Lomani Island Resort on Malolo Island was stunning. We arrived by Cat + greeted by friendly staff waiting with a refreshing coconut drink. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms, + were extremely happy. It overlooked the beach and ocean and was lovely and clean. We arrived on a Wednesday, which is their complementary Kava ceremony and cocktail evening. We found this really good as it taught us some of the traditions around drinking Kava + also allowed us to interact and meet with the other couple staying at the resort. We had an amazing rest of the night drinking Kava with some of the staff and listening to Sevu sing and play guitar. The staff (mainly Sevu) really took the time out + effort to sit with us drinking Kava, while some of the other couples went back to their rooms. Breakfast had a good range to order from + a selection of breads, cereals, pastries + fruit. Lunch + dinner were also good, but slightly on the expensive side - but we found that was just Fiji in general. The pool was amazing with lounges + shade huts surrounding + with it being an adults only resort, was very relaxing to be at, without children screaming + jumping etc. The beach is also very beautiful + private. There is plenty to do; at certain times the Lomani boat will take you out snorkeling to certain reefs (snorkel gear included), and paddle boards, kayaks and bikes to use free of charge. I really think the service and staff really made our stay here that much enjoyable.

A time to relaxPosted Aug 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a super way to just wind down and enjoy weather away from winter here in Oz (so good in and out of the water). It was just perfect. Didn't have to think much, was able to snorkel every second day just off the island in perfect clear water with lots of sea life and felt safe all the time. We did all the activities from kayaking, paddle boards and even relaxing by the pool. This is an ideal spot to be away from noise and bustle. The entire staff from grounds people to reception all played their part and went beyond to assist in making all a seemless holiday. From the first welcome from Orisi to his good bye at the wharf it was a lovely time. This is a place I can recommend. Even the other people around the island were in the same ilk, to stop and chat or just say Bula! It was a time we will cherish and it was apparent everyone was enjoying there time there too. Love your work Anna and co.

Wonderful LomaniPosted Jun 16, 2013
Pros: The setting - and the shower was fanastic!
Cons: The food.
Location: Amazing location, situated on a white sandy beach.
The Lomani was a fantastic experience - the ambience, cleanliness, service and everything about the resort was great. The only thing which let it down a little was the food, which was very average. We definitely cant wait to go back there again though.

Romantic extremely quiet get away!Posted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Beachside candlelight dining, massages by the beach, quiet clean pool, poolside area, roomy clean comfortable room!
Cons: Lack of variety on menu; gym.
Location: Secluded, private, idyllic, worth the one hour ferry ride!
You could not fault the service, fantastic. The beach side candlelight dining, massages by the beach, Wednesday night Fijian evening were highlights! There were not a lot of activities but the few that there were, were included in your stay: pedal bikes, kayaks, wind surf, catamaran with sail, snorkelling, trip to the village. Food was good and well presented ( free room service) but definately not gourmet, and not a lot of variety (same main meus at every meal with one special added at lunch and dinner. In others words, you would not go for the meals. We enjoyed them. The only complaint would be the "gym" , they should not advertise one at all, totally unusable. The hotel is beautiful and in a gorgeous spot, paradise!
