Relaxing family friendly resortPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Well maintained, everything run efficiently and smoothly. Great standard of accomodation and meals. Lots of choice for daily activities.
Location: Easy to acccess from the mainland and close to nearby islands if you wanted to visit ( although we found plenty of activities to keep us busy).
We had a wonderful family holiday with staff very attentive and friendly. The children didnt want to leave the kids club activities and the included non motorised water sports were always available and offered lots of variety. The rooms were of a high standard, this is our 4th visit to Fiji and by far the resort the best we have experienced. The food surpassed our expectations with a choice of three venues for adults. We intitially had an issue with conflicting booking information regarding our meal plans and the hotel obliged us by sorting out the issue in advance and promptly ensuring we were able to access the meal plans as agreed. We will definitely return.

Great holiday at Malolo Island ResortPosted Oct 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
We love the stay at Malolo Island Resort. Everything worked perfectly for us. We were impressed that wifi connection speed was good at the public areas (much better than a 5 star resort we stayed in at Denarau Island). Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Thanks to the Operations Manager and Resort Manager for the warm welcome & send off at the jetty, as well as looking after all guests well during the stay. Serenaders were excellent!! We really enjoyed their performances! Great job, Malolo Resort!

Great family holidayPosted Oct 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was our second visit to Malolo, it is a fantastic island for all the family. The only continually disappointing aspect is the poor/slow service at the Beach Bar, and when finally can't wait any longer to be served and go up to the bar to order they ask you politely to sit down and wait to be served..... argh!!! all the other restaurants on the island are great.

Malolo Island ResortPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Great location, lovely staff, amazing kids club, good food.
Location: Water sports galore and walks in the bush if you are keen.
Amazing!! Perfect family holiday break. Great location on a beautiful tropical island. Very welcoming and friendly staff and guests. Relaxing and low key if you want but lots of activities if you are so inclined. Great snorkelling straight off the beach. 3 restaurants so choices for dining and the kids club was amazing the kids were begging to be allowed even more time there!

Beautiful location, relaxed & friendly atmospherePosted Aug 30, 2014
Cons: I miss having a bathtub in the room. Also, if you have young children (ours are 3 and 10 months) the dinner start times are a bit late.
Location: Stunning beach and good snorkeling off the beach at the resort. My husband and I took the snorkel trip to Castaway Wall and highly recommend it.
We arrived late in the evening by water taxi with two small children and expected to be quietly guided to our bure. We were welcomed by a dozen staff members serenading us in the dark, given fresh juice in the beachfront area and there were complimentary toasted sandwiches in our room for dinner because the restaurants were closed. After two nights we requested a change of bure because we were right next to the beach bar and tucked behind the water sports hut and our requested was accommodated within a few hours. The staff were always very friendly, the babysitters kind and affectionate with our children. Our 3 year old daughter had a fever for a few nights at the beginning and every day the duty manager would come by the check on her. When we decided after 3 days that we wanted her to see a local nurse, reception arranged this quickly and inexpensively. We loved Malolo Island Resort - the location is beautiful, and I felt very relaxed there. Before we went to the airport on our last day we spent a few hours checking out Denarau Marina and the big resorts there and we are so glad that we spent most of our holiday at Malolo in comparison. Most people staying there were families with children but because it's not a huge resort, I never felt overrun by screaming hordes of children.

Great family resortPosted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Malolo Island Resort is a small family friendly resort in a beautiful location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Pay that little bit extra and get the slightly larger room as it is worth it. Ask for room 33 as it is the closest to the water with the best views and a huge deck with hammock. The only negative is the food is not great, not bad but just a bit bland and boring.

Fiji at it's best!Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Staff, the beach, food, kids club... hard to pick just one (or few).
Cons: If I had to be really picky, sun beds at the kids pool and the beach (not the most comfortable beds, but no big deal either).
Location: There are plenty of activities on and off the island. The island is fairly big, with walking tracks behind the resort and some great lookout spots.
Great little resort, perfect for families with small kids. The staff were just incredible, especially with the little ones. We stayed in the oceanview bure, with 2 kids and it was absolutely comfortable. The food and choice of restaurants were great and Treetops is a must. I think meal plan is much better option and is truly a great value for the choice offered. We loved the relaxed feel of the beach bar and breakfast buffet at the Terrace restaurant was amazing. The spa is also a must, Eta is simply brilliant. There are quite a few free water activities available and equipment is quite well kept. Mili and the staff at the kids club were out of this world. No matter what age, all the kids will be well taken care of and not bored for a split second. There are so many activities available that we had trouble keeping them next to us. The beach is great, which is one of the reasons we wanted to go somewhere off the main island and water so clean, perfect for snorkeling. Sunsets are just amazing at the beach. Pools are also great, sunny in the morning. Kids pool is just perfect and we love the fact that the adult only pool was separated, yet so close. This resort has truly thought of every little detail. I would highly recommend this resort and hope to be back there very soon.
