Amazing spot!

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: the location was perfect and the staff so friendly - made for a very relaxing stay.
Cons: The facilities ie. bathrooms in rooms could do a bit of work.
Location: The beach was amazing, with snorkeling just meters out, boat trips for snorkeling, island hoping running frequently, pool by the sea.
Loved our stay at the Plantation Island Resort. The staff were so friendly we had a very nice and relaxed stay, with plenty of activities available whilst there. The food was amazing, as were the cocktails ;) Although the room facilities weren't the greatest everything else made up for it.

Family Resort

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: All pools and sea activities are great.
Cons: Needs an update in the rooms
Location: Great location
A bit of disappointment when we didn't get a poolside room we paid for and took a couple of days to get something up to standard. First few days were not good but better after that. Would be good if they got it right when we arrived.

Best holiday with children

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location and gardens were beautiful
Cons: This resort is in need of a renovation, but it's also not horrible
Location: Water park is great children love it, the shell island tour is also nice to do
I visited here with my two children 12 and 7, this was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had with them, heaps to keep them happy and I'm happy with laying in the sun and swimming. We had the hotel room which could have done with renovation but was comfortable spacious and all we needed. The feeding times within the restaurant at Plantation get very busy and nosy! I'm not sure where all the people go during the day but the beach and pools were quiet. The beach was fantastic and you could swim at low tide unlike Musket Cove where the tide goes very far out.

Great family holiday

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Felt great to be in an environment that was so kid friendly and welcoming. The staff were wonderful and the good things about the holiday far outweighed the bad. Only constructive criticism would be that the resort feels tired and the buffet was a little expensive for what was on offer. But overall, loved loved loved our holiday there!

Beautiful spot. Beautiful people.

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: Location. Staff.
Cons: Pricing of food etc. Accomodation for couples separate from families with babies.
Very relaxing environment for the most part. A few ruined mornings by the sound of babies screaming. Perhaps some thought into the placement of couple with babies to one part of the resort.

Nice, but too big

Posted May 4, 2014
Pros: Beach side Bure
Cons: Would be better if we were not herded off the boat like school kids
Was a really nice hotel, but way too big. We were lucky and booked the beach side bure. This gave us the privacy you would expect from a Fiji holidy. The rest of the resort was way too big and had a caravan holiday feel to it.

Teriible experience in every way.

Staff were unhelpful. Food was terrible and expensive. No hot water or fresh water. A terrible experience all round.
