Delightful experience!

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Everything! ~ Friendly staff who clearly enjoy and take pride in their jobs showed and gave the Resort a lovely warm, friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Nothing to fault or improve on from our experience.
Location: On beach front - Para Sailing,Jet Ski Boats,Canoes. Inflatable Water Park, Tennis/Golf across the road. Shopping & Restaurants at nearby Port Denarau
Friendly welcoming staff are so helpful and willing to assist at all times. Lovely spotless room equipped with quality amenities. Room on third level with balcony, giving views of the meticulous gardens abundant with palms and tropical plants and water features. These were beautifully lit at nightfall, as were the stunning blue lagoons, making evening walks around the Resort an absolute delight! Dining in the pool was really pleasant and so different. My Hubby and I shared a table with another two couples sharing laughs and photos making this a very memorable experience. During the day, swimming pools for adults, families and littlies gave good options of choice.Daily Happy hour offered 'two for one' drinks from 4-6 pm. Four restaurants offered a variety of choice to cater for all tastes/special diets. 24 hour Room Service was speedy and good value for money. My Hubby and I do not have children, but were so impressed with the attentive care given to the little ones during their many daily activities. Parents told us they were so pleased with the 'baby sitting' services. Overall, the best of everything at the Radisson Blu made this the most enjoyable stay we have had away from home. xxx

Beautiful resort

We had an amazing time staying at the Raddison. The resort was spectacular with beautiful views of the ocean from the sunset deck, and the pool was amazing. Although, the best part was the staff. The staff were so friendly and such lovely people.

Relaxing stay,great hotel and staff

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: Well maintained ,great staff
Cons: Bigger adults only areas
Location: On Denaru island with 6or more resorts . The local bus , yellow bus, goes around the resort ant to nadi town 10minutes away. Interesting, fun ,cheap
We wanted a lazy ,laid back week and got it. Lots of families and kids but that wasn't a problem for us. The adults only area was a bit small and the family pool (lagoon) was much nicer than the adolts only pool. If you like kids this is fine but if not maybe look elsewhere but remember that Fiji is a family holiday destination. The staff are fantastic with kids, child minding is cheap and most resorts have kids activities. We had a great time and would go back to Radisson blu again.

Absolutely faultless

Pros: Staff were wonderful
My wife and I spent a week at the Radisson in early November and our stay was great. It was her 30th and we just wanted a relaxing getaway and this was just perfect. The friendliness of the staff and people in Fiji generally was probably the best part of our trip. There were a lot of young families at the hotel but in no way did we find this to be a problem - we actually preferred the "liveliness" at the Radisson compared to some of the other resorts we visited in the area and the adult pool and ocean front decks were usually far enough away from the kid's pool, so you could easily get the best of both worlds from that perspective. My only wish was that the hotel did a little more to surprise my wife as they did for other guests (I did inform them beforehand the reason for our trip was her birthday).

Family friendly resort

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Pools, breakfast, kid-friendly, very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Attention to details with room / food service, e.g. sometimes the sauce came with the chips sometimes it didn't.
Very very friendly staff (soooo good with the kids!), hotel and pools are fantastic. Great for kids. Room was good and clean but occasionally there were little lapses in room service and room cleaning that were kind of odd given how otherwise well the place appear to be operated.

Fantastic for families just a few service niggles

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: All mentioned above
Cons: If resorts on either side can have ok wine lists why cant the Radisson. Staff training on how to offer different products, different menu options too
Location: Great location, very close to Big Bula Theme park , close to a good café, easy to get to wharf for excursions, restaurants (and a great wine shop)
The hotel rooms, standard of public areas, grounds and kids club are all superb. The pool facilities are the best in Denerau for children and the activities guys on duty in the pool area were lovely, fun, enthusiastic & made every effort to include all kids. The breakfasts in Blu were excellent with a huge selection available. The only let down was the evening service in the restaurant and the wine options. A small average wine list was made worse by being out of stock of all white wines other than Sauvignon & Chardonnay for 3 days resulting in us (& other guests dining at other resorts as we do like to have wine with meals and not everyone drinks only Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay these days). Having been seated, given menus & finally after a pretty long wait attempted to place our orders only to be told that only one side of the dinner menu was on offer that night. Pizzas at Neptunes were good and available for takeaways by the pool. The kids club staff were warm & friendly but it is possibly suited to younger children leaving older kids with a bit more energy to just do main resort activities/sports.
