Great hotel

Some parts were undergoing construction but this did not lessen the experience. Also the works were contained to one area and the workers tried hard to minimise the noise.

Excellent location to chill out.

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful
Cons: its not 7 star so don't expect it from a 5 star resort
Location: The marina has some great resturants
The most comfortable beds ever, fab staff, great food. Good for families and adults only.

The hotel has a nice location on the beach. Very friendly staff. There were many young children at the hotel which could be an issue for some customers.

Standard 5 star hotel with main restaurant shut

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: We had a beautiful room
Cons: Don't renovate the main restaurant or at least advise the impact of it
Location: Had dinner at the golf club which was fun, the kids liked it and it was well priced. it is walking distance from the hotel.
We had 3 nights at this hotel on the way to/from the islands. Really disappointed that the main focal point, the Blu restaurant was shut for renovations which we didn't know about. I imagine this changed the whole feel of the hotel. Breakfast was relocated so instead of beautiful sea views at breakfast we ate in a stuffy big room with no views, not happy. Dinner we ate at the pizza/fish and chips 2 nights as the other restaurants were full. If I had known that the main restaurant was closed I would have gone elsewhere as we paid top dollar for our room on two of the nights we stayed. Quite a shock coming back from the islands to the crazy pool chocka with screaming kids. Not that relaxing.

Great location for a family break

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Pool facilities, staff, hotel layout.
Cons: Mini mart within the hotel could carry a broader range of items to enable families to cook there own meals within there rooms.
Location: Good location, being close to neighboring resorts opens up more dining and pool options which is advantageous.
We had a great stay at the Radisson Blu. Great pool area's for all members of the family and a selection of dining venues. We weren't overly happy with the first room we were given, but requested to change which was done for us without fuss. One restaurant was undergoing renovation at the time of our stay which was unfortunate, but once complete will only improve the hotel and its facilities. Would highly recommend for anyone with children. For couples wanting to travel, would avoid school holiday periods.

Radisson Blu - family holiday

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Staff and facilities - everything is available on site.
Cons: Second time we were there during renovations. Realise they need to happen but could perhaps be staged throughout the year.
Location: Water sports on site, Big Bula Water Park, Golf Club, kids club and lots more ...
Recently took 5 year old and grand parents to Fiji. We had great rooms at the Radisson, ours with a kitchen meant we could cook our own toast, etc as we wanted reducing the over all cost of the holiday. We spent almost all of our time in the pool - our son loved the waterslide! Everything you could want was on site and a short walk to the other resorts or the golf club provided variety. The staff were extremely friendly and all new our son's name within the first few days. The activities staff were excellent - cant thank them enough! This was our second trip and I suspect wont be our last. Would highly recommend the Radisson Blu for a family holiday,
