Stayed here one night prior to Sheraton tokoriki

Posted Apr 26, 2015
I was only there for one night so booked a basic room had dinner at ports of call which was absolutely amazing, comparable with food I've had in France. The hotel was lovely and had a really good vibe at night around the bar... Staff were amazing, after coming back from tokoriki/likuliku and going around the bula bus today seeing the other resorts (currently staying at the Hilton) i wish I stayed back at Sheraton with a room upgrade as there is a lot more going on there - would definitely go back

Great Hotel for Family Groups

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Good location, good sized and well maintained rooms.
Cons: Breakfast - refer previous comment regarding breakfast
Location: Easily accessible to Port Denarau Marina by the efficient Bula Bus Service. The Marina has a good variety of eating, drinking and shopping choices.
Our stay was quite pleasant. Staff were great, the rooms were well maintained and facilities generally in good condition. The buffet breakfast was not particularly relaxing with many young children involved in helping themselves to food. The unpleasant part about the breakfast was for those who were seated near the front of the restaurant, where you had to protect your food from the birds that would swoop in and attack what was on your plate. Certainly felt unhygienic! Even though we had agreed to the prepaid breakfast package we went elsewhere after two mornings.

Hotel is ok, but not as described. It did not meet the expectation of high star resort. The room was not serviced reguraliry and some things did not work/were broken in the room.

Great Stay

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: -
Cons: Bathroom - our shower door made a terrible noise every time we opened and closed it!
Location: Mud baths were great. Marina has some lovely restaurants.
Good size spacious room- ocean view. Would love queen beds though! lovely friendly staff everywhere - from check in - porters to room attendants. We were there during school hols and whilst busy - it was not as crowded as we expected. Food at Flying Fish is very very good. Kids $5 food bands are fantastic! We will def return.

Huge beach

Checking in too took long and since we had family dropping us off they could not unload their vehicle because the staff told us to check in and then drive to the car park. We were not happy about this. The breakfast buffet was great.

Nice stay. The staff were always kind and willing to help you. The aircon in the room a bit noisy but overall a good experience.

Perfect place to unwind

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: The rooms are very nice and all the facilities are very good.
Cons: I accidentally got charged twice for our room. So always check your booking to see if you have paid or not and have a booking form with you.
Location: Definitely eat down at the Port as prices in all the 5 Star denarau hotels are very expensive.
Had a fantastic 9 night stay here. Very relaxing and quiet.

Great hotel, excellent food and wonderful staff

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: A few minor things around the hotel needed some TLC such as a broken tile in our room but other than that couldn't fault it.
Location: Heaps of activities at the resort for all to enjoy and Port Denarau offers shopping, food and other expriences such as boat trips etc.
The whole experience was great from the room, the staff, the food and the grounds would happily go back anytime.

Quite location

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: The staff were the highlight
Cons: New Chef at the Flying Fish would be a great start
Location: Pool was excellent, lots of activities to do if so desired or just sit and relax
Well, the staff are friendly, happy to help with anything you may want. Clean hotel, disappointing our room did not have the "Ocean view" that was expected and paid for. Suspect that they just stuck us in any room as we arrived early prior to check in. Were not told of the 50% discount for our first night arrival of dinner in the Feast restaurant, staff at Feast told us about this. Breakfast everyday cost us extra, so we sought an other places to eat that were affordable. The buffet dinner was great for the two nights we ate at Feast. The "Flying Fish" restaurant at the resort was over rated - my partner ordered a steak off the menu that was priced at $90 Fijian - very disappointing as was not cooked as requested, when we spoke to the wait staff they could tell by looking. The response we received from the Chef was less than important. Sorry to say that a restaurant that operates under the Chef - Peter Kuruvita was not at the standard that was expected. Do not waste your money by dining here, a shame really as the wait staff are so lovely.
