Nice and relaxing resortPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: What is not too like about this place
Cons: More modern facilities in room regarding TV and fridge
Location: Resort is located 30 minutes from town so it is good if you want to go shopping or out for food and drinks
Very relaxing feel as soon as you arrive with friendly staff that are willing to help. The resort is very peaceful and you feel as though you are a million miles from everywhere, whilst being only 30 minutes from town.

Great resort even without coral reef.Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The look, feel and comfort.
Cons: Better equipment for sailing.
Fantastic place to get away. Friendly staff, Lots of activities on offer. Personally I missed a snorkeling spot close by, but the spots you goto on the boat are excellent

Friendly staff made Sonaisali bearable.Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The staff were fantastic and the proximity to the airport make it very appealing. It is a peaceful resort and the pool and restaurant area are set up.
Cons: The resort is run down, it needs a lot of maintenance, the pool and beach area were a bit dirty and the bedding needs updating.
Location: It is easy to get to and there appear to be plenty of activities nearby, we didn't try any, but heard good reports from others that did.
We were really disappointed with our visit to Sonaisali. The staff were lovely and certainly did their absolute best, they made us feel most welcome. The resort has been recently sold and the current owner is doing nothing to maintain the resort or provide sufficient resources to meet the day to day requirements. It was understaffed, poorly kept and continually running out of things, from beach towels for nearly 2 days, to eggs, bacon and chicken on varying days. The photos depict the resort in better days, a good bit of TLC I'm sure will make the world of difference.

Great place to stay in Fiji!Posted Jun 30, 2014
The resort has everything you need for a relaxing yet exciting experience in a Fiji. Very close to the mainland with easy access. The resort is very family friendly for young children.

Off the grid but no beachPosted Jun 29, 2014
If you are looking for a place to unwind, this might be for you. The hotel isn't really close to anything...so if you are interested in other activities, this may not be the place for you. There also isn't a beach, but there is a pool.

Good ResortPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The in house activity for kids is good and all facility are nice. Good location and nice view.
Cons: Require General repairs to the rooms as the AC broke down during our stay.
Location: This resort is isolated on it on and there isn't much within walking distance. So you got to catch a taxi from the other side of the island.
Good resort with wonderful staff and good in house activities especially for kids. The only down side is that the beach is not very pleasing as other places in fiji has white sand and Blue water. Close from Airport and Nadi Town.

Very RelaxingPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Staff Location
Location: Location is isolated from nadi town and any activities so be prepared to travel. Perfect romantic get away.
My girl and I stayed for 10 days during end of May 2014 and absolutely loved the resort. We wanted a relaxing quiet wind down holiday and that is exactly what we got. The resort is between owners and it shows but it was still a good solid 3.7 out of 5 in our view. Once the new owners (we're told the Hilton) takeover and splash a bit of money around it will definitely be close to a 5 star resort. The staff are fantastic...be sure to say hi to Sammy at the pool bar and Aggie and Teena in the restaurant and bar....beautiful people who make you feel like family...also johnny at the front desk is Fabulous....you'll know what I mean when you meet him. If you want to unwind and be away from it all and do nothing but lounge around the pool and bars then this resort is for you. If you want to see more of Fiji and the surrounding islands then we suggest you stay closer to or at Denarau Island. The activities from the resort are a little sub-standard compared to what you can get elsewhere so be prepared to travel from the resort if you want quality value for money tours of Fiji and the islands. We will absolutely go back there for a few days just to unwind but would move on to Denarau island to finish our next Fiji experience. Hopefully the new owners will make this place all it promises to be....would not travel there for at least 12months while new owners take over and complete renovations/updates. Still good value for money and we loved every moment...just needs updates.

Amazing views & beautiful location.Posted Jun 15, 2014
This is a fantastic place for a great family getaway, serene and beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle. Staff members are very friendly but service lacks a bit of discipline & the hotel feels tired. It needs a bit if work to lift the standards. Loved the location and views though.
