"Great hotel, rooms little tired but loved the rest"
I stayed for 5 nights in a tropical garden view room with my 2 kids. We had 2 double beds in the room and access to the garden through the sliding door. The room was pleasantly furnished however bathrooms felt a little old with some poor plastering.
Having said that, we didnt spend time in the room really and loved the rest of the place. The service was really good with very friendly staff who amazingly remembered my and my childrens names. The ability to cross charge between this hotel, the Sheraton and Sheraton Villas was a definite bonus as we spread our time across these 3 resorts. The kids eating free offer was a winner for the hotel as I would have left the hotels to eat if this was not available, so they got more money out of me. However, i think there needs to be a larger variety of options on the associated kids menus so that bigger kids who still qualify for the offer don't go hungry without having to order more. But still, a good offer, particularly for breakfast.
The pool and poolside facilities are excellent and the place was very clean.
All in all, I would be back. Just watch out for standing on frogs on the way back to the room in the dark!

The location is beautiful, resort is lovely and we had the most special relaxing holiday ever. What makes this place so special is the staff and management here. They take a real personal approach and cannot do enough for you. Everyone is so genuinely friendly and we were really sad to leave.
We ended up in a Ocean View Tokoriki Retreat room - Wow! our own private plunge pool where we could see through to the beach between beachfront retreats. The way the rooms were situated gives great privacy and when the plants and vegetation grow, this will increase. Bathroom and shower was huge!
The food was so good! It was exciting, fresh and the best I have ever experienced in Fiji (let along in NZ & Australia. The food presented on the 3 buffet nights was exceptional. The rest of menu was just awesome and breakfast was great.
The grounds and gardens are lovely and will be stunning when the plants and flowers have grown. (Fiji is currently experience a drought so they have done so well to get anything established). The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling is great.
There was always a quiet spot to be found, either round the pool or on the beach. They cater for children here and the mix of guests were great from couples, families friends etc.
You have to book the transfers through the Sheraton, 1 hour out and 2 hours back or ff you can afford it - get a helicopter transfer at least one way....
