“Friendly and accomodating”

Staying at the Skylodge was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and very accomodating and the grounds were gorgeous and relaxing. I had a television and a fridge in my very clean two queen bed room but really, why would you need a TV in paradise, anyway?? The restaurant had great meals and the pool bar kept the drinks cold and tasty. The staff is the best - they're amicable and very happy to give you some tips on where to go while in Fiji.

“Good Hotel, Great Location”

Located less than five minutes from the Nadi airport, the Nomads Skylodge Hotel offers great value and a great location. The property is clean, if a bit basic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Fun bar with lots of college-kids from Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Although it looks plain, the restaurant offers first class Indian cusine. Try the chicken currey. Very convenient location, five minutes from the airport and right on a bus line into town, which is just six kilomenters down the road. Not the place to stay if you're looking for high-end luxury, but great if you want a nice, clean, friendly place to stay while you explore the island.

“Convenient bargain stay”

Nice folks, good facility, handy to airport. Airport shuttle hours limited (most flights arrive or depart at night). Compared to other "comparable" hotels, this is clearly the best bargain.

“good budget accommodation”

Good basic budget hotel in a goood lcoation, close to airport. Quite suitable for short or medium length stay. Reception was confused and confusing, mixing up reservations and not quite knowing what to do, but it all worked out ok, if time consuming.

“Not expensive, not not clean either”

Fijii is in a political crisis that is keeping tourists away. But hotels still need to to basic maintenance of rooms that they are renting. I was okay for a single night, but would not have wanted to spend a whole week here.

“Comfortable hotel for back-packers at reasonable price”

The central feature of the hotel is a smallish pool surrounded by tropical vegetation. Many of the guests were back-packers on route for the islands of Fiji. Most were 40 to 50 years younger than us but there was a happy atmosphere. Rooms were well cleaned and food was good and well served in "Fiji-time", but bring insect repellent with you and cream to put on bites.

“Very cheap, clean and near the airport”

This hotel is great for 1 or 2 days. Works fine for stop overs or pre/post for cruises. There are a couple of grocery stores within walking distance and an inexpensive cake shop/coffee(five sisters cakes)about 4 blocks down on the left hand side of the property. All in all the property was clean and comfortable (lodge rooms).

“clean and affordable”

We went to this hotel due it's close approximity to the airport and affordability. The rooms were clean and decent size. The pool area quite nice. The restaurant however was a little pricey for such a small hotel that attracts backpackers and budget-minded people. About a 10 minute walk or so from the hotel is a small cafe called Five Sisters Bakery (something like that) that offers coffee, tea, soda and delicious little pastries - perfect for a lite breakfast or afternoon snack.

“good value for money perfect for budget travelling”

this is a great place for back packers and low budget travelling. this is very good value for money but very basic accommodation. we were about to be trapped in Dainaru by rain flooding and could have miss our flight we move at the last minute to Skylodge and that save our trip!! the hotel is old and not charming but you get what you pay for and the restaurant makes good pizza!!! there was a large screen and we manage to watch the Tennis Australian Open while all hotel in Dainary (5stars) were in the dark with no electricity!!!
