FantasticPosted Sep 30, 2014
Great resort. Overall experience was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Skip the romantic dinner for 180 Fijian not worth it at all. Will go back when new section is complete late 2015

Nice hotel on the beachPosted Sep 16, 2014
We stayed at The Pearl en route to Lalati Resort and Spa. The rooms were reasonably priced and had great views of the ocean. Unfortunately our room smelled strongly of bleach and the tiled floor was damp and slimy. We had a reasonable meal at the restaurant and the bar and restaurant staff were very nice.

Good stayPosted Sep 7, 2014
Nice hotel with good facilities such as spa, golf course and club, restaurants and bar. Bear in mind you are 2 1/2hrs from Nadi and the drive can be a bit hairy. A lot of construction work going on which we were not aware of when booking. Fairly quiet but fencing and hammering noises did detract from the beauty of location. Nothing to do in local area, all trips and activities v. expensive ie $160 for one hour on boat. Very secluded and relaxing location if that is what you are looking for however a lot of rubbish on the beach

Cheap easy cleanPosted Sep 2, 2014
An upgrade of the hotel and marina is only a minor inconvenience at the pool or bar areas. But with great views and right on the beach its easily overlooked.

The best holiday so far :)Posted Sep 2, 2014
The Pearl South Pacific Resort was the location for my relatives wedding. I had the best time staying there for 4 nights with my family. I will definetly stay a little longer next time I visit. The staff were awesome & wonderful. I didn't want to leave The Pearl hehe. I miss the walks on the beach and everything the Pearl has to offer. Vinaka Vaka Levu :)

Happy stay despite a needed physical upgradePosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Cons: The physical plant needs upgrading. The bulding is old and tired.
Location: A good central location between Suva and Nadi
Very friendly and accommodating. Just the right balance.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff Good food
Cons: Price of coctails and food bit expensive
Location: Shark dive Rafting fiji It's a bit remote, away from the cities. you are 1h away from suva (capital) But 2,5h away from nadi airport
Expanding the hotel, so always noice from the workers building the new buildings. But this was not really annoying.

Friendly resort - plenty to doPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, nice beach (not the case if you don't go any further than Denauru) and good range of activities.
Location: Pacific Harbour offered a variety of options nearby for eating out in addition to the resort. Plenty of tour options.
Wonderfully friendly staff at this resort made our stay a pleasure. We had a good deal as the resort is currently undertaking building works on a new wing and marina but this did not intrude upon our stay at all. Mostly an older crowd of guests made for fairly quiet, early evenings, so not the spot for those looking to party - which suited us. Four rounds of golf on the challenging, well maintained course felt like we had our own private course as there were so few other players. What a luxury! It mat not be Natadola, but we didn't have to share! Make sure you visit the food markets in Suva, the Sigatoka sand dunes and the nearby Eco Park where you can hold iguanas and snakes. You can hire a car in Pacific Harbour for these side trips. Also plenty of day tours available - Rivers of Fiji was a particularly good way to get up into the highlands and see the jungle.

The staff was amazing, the food was awesome and plentiful. worth its value. The hotel is in need of some renovation tomake it a 5 star facility based on its location and ammenities. They are building a brand new marina and hotel rooms and I am sure when that project is dione they will renovate the present hotel, I would come back here without any hesitation. They should not be charging for internet access at te room rates they charge.
