The Westin was a great resort. Lots of options for us to do while we were at the resort. The views were amazing. However lots of staff were of Fiji time and it took while to get food and other services. Enjoyed our stay overall.

Hotel is very old, room very small & had a big water leak under our bed. Everything is overpriced and everything is chargable there is nothing that you got as a thank you or without a charge. In room dining delivery had a charge of $10FJD, there poolside dining was so overpriced that there 1L water bottle cost us $14FJD. Everything you did had a price and that was price was almost double if not triple. Disgusting ethics and just highway robbery. Hotel was old, dark everywhere you went and very outdated. Taxi's were again a big rip off also from the Hotel. Would not visit again and would not recommend to anyone. RIP OFF!

Staff are very caring and look after you well. The resort will need to undergo some maintenance. There are leaks in the roof, not bad but a nuisance.

This is our second stay at the Westin and again the staff were fantastic, the swimming pools are great, the adults only pool is very relaxing and the feel of the resort is Fijian (not a concrete jungle like some other resorts). We last visited the Westin 2 years ago when it was not a Marriott hotel. Some things have changed, including a hike up in prices of cocktails and beers. The restaurant is now Indian cuisine, bathrooms have been renovated and updated with a separate shower and bath, plus the wifi is great. Although this is the oldest resort on Denerau we love the Westin the most because it has a homely feel. Buffet breakfast is good and fulfills most tastes, the omelette station is always the standout! The Westin is due to be closed and renovated at the end of 2020, I hope that the Marriott chain does not change it too much, however it would be great to see prices of drinks not outlandish, the decks around the pools repaired (as some were looking very unsafe) and some consistency in their activities program. Thanks again for a lovely stay, we will return to check out the updated Westin after renovations are complete.

Not very happy with housekeeping. my Baby needed to sleep but when we got back from the pools we saw our rooms housekeeping wasn’t done, all the other rooms next to us was done but our room was a mess, don’t like it

This property is beautiful. Not only can you use the Westin but you can also use the Sheraton Resort. The staff is nice and the resort has everything you need. It is also conveniently located near the port, restaurants and excursions. The breakfast became a little repetitive so that was a bummer. Other than that the staff was nice but not very knowledgeable about certain things. For example where to get ice and things like that but I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel asked for my arrival information two days prior and I told them I would arrive at 5:30 am. They confirmed the information. Upon arrival, i was told no room was ready for me. I finally checked into a room at approximately noon. While waiting, i was told i could to showers at the adult pool to change clothes. For the first four days, i did not have hot water in the shower. I complained to the front desk twice a day until it was fixed. For my departure, my flight left at 9:40pm and my shuttle, arranged via the hotel service, was to depart at 6:15pm. I asked to a late checkout and was told noon was the latest. When asked again, Ora said 2pm and anything after that i would be charged $25 per hour. I advised i was a Bonvoy member, had stayed at the property for eight nights and spent over $2,200 during my stay, in addition to paying for my room, they called and got approval for me to stay in my room until 5pm. There was no other place in the hotel that was air conditioned. What a joke!

The Westin could use a revamp. It is a little tired, but so are some of the other resorts we visited in Fiji. The staff are very friendly. Don’t expect anything in a rush, as pretty much everyone is on ‘Fiji time’. Room service can take an hour.The accommodation is ok, but the bathrooms are terrible and need a huge overhaul. I don’t think it deserves its 5 star rating. Our aircon didn’t work as well as it should and the safe malfunctioned half way through our stay. Drinks especially are quite expensive. We did expect to pay more while staying at a resort, but other higher end resorts next door have significantly cheaper prices. Day spa was nice, but again pricey. The main pool is pretty good, and the adults only pool is very nice. Pool towels are often scarce so hold onto the ones you have for a day or two and then see if they have laundered new ones. The gym is fantastic. If we were to visit Fiji again, we wouldn’t stay in Denarau, we would stay at one of the outer island resorts that has nicer beaches and snorkeling etc. Westin doesn’t have a beach front that you can walk along. Plenty of activities on offer. Don’t get sucked in to buying from the little outdoor ‘market’ they have set up as the prices are triple what you will pay at the ‘ jacks on Fiji’ souvenir shop literally a few metres away. Having said that the wooden souvenirs in jacks are significantly more expensive than even the airport prices so it pays to shops around if you don’t want to be ripped off.

Majority of staff were super friendly. Breakfast was disappointing with limited choices, however loved the fresh juice bar. A guest laundry would be preferable. Overall I would highly recommend the Westin and will stay there again.

Great location with a wide range of breakfast options at the buffet. The bed was heavenly and the upgraded bathroom in the Spa plunge pool room was very special. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are many options for dining within a 1 km walk along the waterfront.

The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating (especially with a toddler). The Westin is not too modern in style which is what we wanted. Just a 5 minute bus ride to the main port where there are good restaurants and shopping options, A good place to stay if you have a young family.
