Relaxed Tropical FeelPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: We liked the relaxed tropical feel this hotel has.
This resort has beautifully maintained tropical gardens and lovely swimming pools. The beds are comfortable which is important to me. It is affiliated with the two Sheraton resorts so it is an added bonus to be able to use their facilities also. The resorts are walking distance to each other however they also have a free bus if you wish to be dropped off. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There are lots of restaurants to choose from throughout the resorts, the golf club and at the marina. There is also cafés, bakeries, and a small grocery store amongst the resorts. You can organise cruises to the other islands, waters sports, shark diving, and other tours at their tours desk. We enjoyed our stay at The Westin Fiji.

Great location but old hotelPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: The pools were really nice and one of the restaurants, The Kitchen, was amazing!
Cons: The rooms all need updating!
Location: Definitely go to the Marina a few times for meals. Visit the nearby Sheraton hotels as you can bill it back to the Westin which makes things so much e
The hotel location and facilities are really good however the rooms are really run down and the bathrooms look like what you'd expect at a 2 star motel. The staff were nice but in no means were they on the ball. The term "Fiji Time" was the excuse we gave them every time we waited longer than we should have for the most basic thing. We were disappointed that on our 1 year anniversary holiday, when we arrived we were told that we had 2 double beds after i booked for a king bed. I told the reception lady that we had booked the king bed and then she was quick to say that we in fact had 2 queen beds. When we arrived at the room, they were in fact double beds...Not a great way to spend our anniversary. In separate beds. The Westin Spa reception area was lovely however the massage itself was interrupted by the sound of drilling near by and afterwards, there were only 2 showers to use and at peak time when everyone wants to take their time and relax in the open air shower, the people outside are left standing in their robes all greased up with nothing to do but wait and wait some more.

Housekeeping and overall room ambience...unacceptaPosted Sep 9, 2014
Room was dark and very brooding Not fit for a holiday Was given an impression that as I had booked through an agent the hotel staff could not do anything to give me a better room inspite of staying for 10 days Toilet was small and water supply on the shower was low pressure and stopped while I was having my shower Towels not regularly replaced inspite of reminders A very sad experience that mucked my holiday with my friend

Nice resort decent service stupidly expensive foodPosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: It was relaxing and the exercise pool was gorgeous and never crowded.
Location: Definitely take one of the cruises advertised at the activities desk.
The resort is very beautiful and the staff was mostly helpful. The wifi in our room only worked for 2 of the 5 days we were there. The staff did nothing about that. I was able to use the wifi in the lobby to send emails though so that worked out alright. Our back door did not lock and when we told them they did fix it. I would have thought they would offer a room upgrade or something complimentary since we spent a day and a half with a faulty lock but they said the resort was at capacity. There is not really a beach but the exercise pool is gorgeous and for adults only so we spent a lot of time there. I recommend taking one of the cruises advertised at the activities desk as the beaches are beautiful and the snorkeling is excellent.

Great Hotel, clean and quiet, extremely well keptPosted Aug 22, 2014
Fantastic holiday, great experience!! Wonderful neat and clean hotel, friendly staff. Suggestion could be to perhaps improve on nighttime entertainment, more lively music, dance and shows

Ideal location with views and transport access.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The location, services and general ambience.
Cons: The hotel is showing sign of age, which gives it character, but, could do with some upgrades.
Location: The location is ideal for spectacular views, sunrise and sunset over the ocean. It is close to other resorts, golf course and the port.
The ocean-front room had spectacular views and was ideally located for the facilities of the hotel and adjacent resorts and golf course. The staff services were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel would be my ideal choice for a future visit to Fiji.

recent 2 night stay in AugustPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Lobby areas, staff are friendly and courteous. Culture night was good value - show and dinner.
Cons: Pool temperature too cold? Room maintenance
Location: We liked the location close to Denaurau port to access islands
My husband and I spent two nights at the Westin Denaurau resort. We were pleasantly surprised on the overall holiday. It was reasonably priced to eat. One evening meal was at the "kitchen" dining area sitting on a deck overlooking the bay, which was beautiful watching the sunset. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. The hotel lobby and grounds were impressive though rooms do need an upgrade and maintenance, though were overall clean. Pool was lovely though water temperature was cool, too cool to swim even though was warm weather. Pool area well kept gardens and deck. If ordering drinks service to pool area was a little expensive though happy hour between 5 and 6 was good value. We would stay here again.
