good value but a bit far from central London

Posted May 21, 2015
Overall service was good. Hotel is fairly old and rooms were dated. Food was good. Typical of old hotels , no elevators. Close enough to tube, and fairly safe area. A bit far from London.

Great hotel near alexandra palace

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Excellent all round. Staff were lovely. Buffet breakfast was just what I needed after a night out :) and the gardens are lovely to sit out in the sun. Very easy to get to only a short walk from the station. Would highly recommend especially for the money in London.

Comfortable

Posted Feb 9, 2015 on Hotels
We had two triple rooms, 1 with 3 single beds, 1 with a single and a double. Both had ample space, clean, airy and comfortable bedding. Bathrooms were adequate but a little tired. Breakfast offered a fair choice. No soya milk though - bring your own if you need it. Good place to stay if you need a night or two in Woodside Park.

Glenlyn Hotel

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: some new carpets and get rid of soiled furniture
Location: Close to Woodside Park Tube
The Glenlyn is a bit tired. Our room on the second floor (very steep stairs) was fine but it had a stained and damaged chair which really spoiled the room. The bed was comfortable. It is convenient for Woodside Park Tube.

Glenlyn Guest House a good place to stay.

Stayed for 3 nights.Good location, tube station short walk away, high street at the end of the road for shops and buses, quiet area. Hotel clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful, good buffet breakfast, room was slightly small for a double but adequate. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Weekend away visiting family

Very enjoyable stay, lovely room and good food. The only hickup was no hot water left when we came to have a shower, only luke warm.
