Homely Atmosphere Motel

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Great homely touches by Irene, Free Wi-Fi, Cup cakes a litre of milk not UHT
Cons: Dryer in Laundry
Location: Milford Sound, Glow Worm Caves
So welcoming from the very first call to the final goodbye. Our trip to Milford Sound fell through we previously booked within 5 minutes Irene had us booked on a better family friendly trip. The thing we enjoyed as a family of 5 was the little extra touches we have yet to receive on our trip in this price bracket. Thick bathroom towels, TV in both bedrooms, FREE WIFI, milo for the kids, playground & Trampoline for the kids, some of many homely touches not to mention the amazing cup cakes on arrival, and a full knowledge of great restaurants in the area on any budget. Thanks so much see you again

The room is small but clean. The town is small. It takes not long to walk to the beach or to the supermarket. A quiet town. We stay only one night at the town. Not very impressive.

Great place to stay in Fiordland, NZ!!

Posted May 25, 2014
We just found this place on Expedia by chance. We are so lucky to have found it! This is a small quaint little motel in a beautiful town, Te Anau, New Zealand. The owners live on site and are so caring and friendly. It was like we had our own personal travel agents. We only had 2 days to spend in the area and Irene and Dave were so helpful in making those 2 days memorable! The place is a bit old, but it's been updated and it's very clean and quiet. They run an eco-friendly place, chemical free, and you are encouraged to recycle. There are laundry facilities, in a cute little wash house with a clothes line outside it. Parking and internet are free - this place is very homey and it made us feel like we knew someone in NZ that had a guest house for us to stay in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

ADEN MOTEL 57 QUINTIN ST., TE ANAU, N.Z.

All the Staff were extremely helpful and provided valuable advice on the sites to visit. The motel was spotlessly clean and a credit to the maintainers.
