Love this place and the location is perfect! Close to Thira and your typical touristy stuff but able to escape to a more peaceful side of town. The staff are so helpful and polite. A delightful retreat!

A fantastic luxury boutique hotel located on the edge of the caldera with the best panoramic views of the amazing sunsets.
The location is perfect for visiting the island - close enough to the town centre but in a very quiet spot. We spent five nights at the hotel and would have loved to stay there for longer. We will return!
Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved the traditional Greek furniture and the modern touches like the great bathroom. Breakfasts were wonderful.
Anthony and his team were the perfect hosts. They are very knowledgeable about their island and it's history. They anticipate your every need but in a quiet non intrusive way.

An easy 10 minute walk from the center of Fira, the hotel property is beautiful and offers views of both the Aegean (caldera) and Meditteranean seas. The nice big patio of the room looks out on the caldera, while a few steps away the pool area has great views of the Meditteranean. Do yourself a favor and get up early enough to watch the sunrise - wow. The room was quite large, especially the bathroom - and it had washcloths (European hotels generally do not). Breakfast was outstanding, as was the service - each person I had contact with exceeded my expectations.
The only downside is road noise - the hotel is on the main road in to Fira. It did not bother my sleep but might for others.

This is the best hotel for an unforgettable view of the caldera. Very private, the rooms are spread out along the rockwall, so you're not on top of other people. Our rooms were not updated yet, which is planned for this year, but they were spacious and very comfortable. The only minus is the size of the tub/shower which was very small. Hopefully this will be better after the update. The people are very friendly, and always very helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh. I'd given it 5 stars if the bathroom had been bigger. Definitely worth a stay and I hope to come back here some day.

It was the perfect honeymoon!!! We saw beautiful sunsets, fell in love with Santorini but the highlight is our stay in Petite Palace. We got there before 7am but they were able to provide us a room before 8. The manager Gregoris took really good care of us while waiting for our room. He offered breakfast at no charge. All rooms have an absolutely perfect view of the Caldera. Staff were all friendly from the manager down to the servers and the porter. When we left, the porter who carried our luggage waved us goodbye until we were out of sight. We were heartbroken when we left! We will definitely come back and stay at Petite Palace!

What a lovely stay and really welcomed by katerina who was able to help with anything. Don't be put off by getting there if by taxi, thinking it is a long way out of the centre, once your there you can walk into town past the two large church and cathedral the views this way is lovely and it only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get to the centre. There is a small pool but we wanted to see the island whist there so didn't make use of the pool, however we did use the sun beds for no cost, which was lovely.
Katerina was always there until 11 pm at night so any problem she would help with.
The room was lovely, sleeping area, bathroom with lovely shower, an area to sit and chill with TV, but couldn't get much on it, we weren't bothered, but lovely veranda area to sit and drink and play cards.
Breakfast was continental, if you were up early there was warm scrambled eggs, tea and coffees cereal and breads, ham and cheese and best of all in door and outdoor area for eating, looking over to the sea lovely, we really enjoyed our time here.
We would stay in the town at night and walk back the way we had come it was lovely and we always felt safe.

The hotel is 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Fira and the amazing view, which took our breath away when we came upon it, over the Caldera. Lots of eating places overlooking the view (quite pricey) but also some more reasonably priced restaurants and cafes, offering excellent traditional Greek food. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was plentiful and reasonably varied. In all our stay was just what we had hoped for, and more.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nomikos. We had a great view off our balcony (room 10 I think). The rooms are quaint and cozy. The hotel is literally built into the side of the mountain which was neat but two drawbacks: 1) I stand at 6'2" so I came home with a few dents on the head (the rock will always win that battle) and 2) the humidity was pretty high in the room. Be sure to keep the bathroom closed and vent on during a shower...that was our mistake.
The staff made the trip that much more enjoyable. They were always extremely helpful and welcoming. We lost our luggage upon arriving in Santorini and they went above and beyond in pointing us towards affordable replacements (to avoid tourist pricing :) and helping us with some expedient laundry. We would visit here again!

Fira is perched on Santorini Island's west side bordering the caldera. Narrow stone paths lined with souvenir shops and restaurants link the town's central square to the upper cable car terminal. Historical museums displaying Greek artifacts and postcard-perfect churches welcome visitors, while mesmerizing sunsets stop tourists in their tracks at the end of a memorable day in this capital city.
