First B&B stay

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Everthing
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Great location, close to many wineries, which we enjoyed as well
This was our first B&B stay and our wedding night. The room was very nice plenty of space and very comfortable. All was very clean nicely frunished. Breakfast was wonderful and John was very pleasant and attentive. We will recommend to our friends and family and will stay again if in the area. Very pleasant experience.

Quaint B&B

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Delicious breakfasts, helpful staff, lovely grounds
Cons: We were there for 4 nights and I would have liked the room cleaned and shampoo restocked.
Location: Location near major roads to get in to the city easily.
Quiet street, close to Art Musem, Connor Prairie and they had a yoga class on site. Hard to believe you were so close to a major city. We had just driven our motorcycles for three days from New Mexico and it was a great retreat from the road.

Out time at the Prairie Guest House was great. The staff made us very comfortable, while respecting our space and privacy. Our dog enjoyed himself too. There was space for him to run and explore very easily.

Nice B@B but a few problems.

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and the room was quiet, and clean. The place had an interesting history and was well cared for.
Cons: Simple shower that does not need directions to turn it on and grab bars in the bath area.
Location: The location was good for us as we were visiting family in Fishers.
WE could not get the shower to work and so had to take baths. My husband had 2 knee surgeries and it was very, very difficult for him to get out of the tub--no grab bars or anything to hang onto. I thought I might have to call for help. The room could have used a ceiling fan for air circulation as it was stuffy during the night. It was quiet and the breakfast was a nice surprise as the paper work said it would be a continental breakfast.

Best place in Indiana.

Don't even think about going to a chain motel when staying in the Indianapolis area. Go straight to the Prairie Guest House. We had an excellent experience.

Meh...

Pros: Homely. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Lots.
Location: Almost directly across the very busy road to Connor Prairie.
It was just OK. TV didn't work. Squished spider under the glass on picture in room. Interior wall rotten and painted over. Located on a very busy street.
