“Pleasantly Surpised”

We stayed here prior to our flight out of Rome. Fregene is a beach community and the hotel has access to one of the beaches (we didn't use). Hotel staff was very helpful and even let us print boarding passes from their computer. Our rooms had the best showers in Italy, we think..huge with a big rain shower head in the center and a great hand held shower head as well. The shower floor were somewhat stained with what could be mold and that's why I didn't rate the cleanliness of our room higher. Dinner at the hotel was very good as was a generous breakfast buffet the next morning. The hotel is about 15 mins. from the airport and you don't enter from the same direction as if coming from Rome, so if you are returning a car, you will need to research the best route and watch for those elusive signs. We were very happy with our choice of this hotel and its location.

“A very pleasant place to stay”

All the staff we encountered (front desk and restaurant) were courteous and helpful; dinner was excellent. Whereas my daughter's room was somewhat shabby (stained carpet and wallpaper), mine was spotless. Rooms were large as were the hallways, there was no feeling of being cramped. The hotel had a genteel Havana-in-the-50s air about it. Do not go there expecting a modern American style chain hotel. The exterior of the residence block could use a little attention. The hotel is across the road from an attractive Lido with all the usual amenities and a clean beach. It is a 10 minute drive from the terminal at Rome Fiumicino. I shall certainly return to La Conchiglia if I have a layover for an early morning international flight

“Great for flights from Rome Airport”

This is a lovely clean hotel with a good breakfast and attentive staff. They do have a shuttle to Fiumicino but it is necessary to reserve it prior to coming in so that someone can pick you up at the airport. Easy to get a trip back in the morning via hohtel staff and inexpensive as well.

“A great airport hotel”

This hotel is very modern and right next to the beach. The front desk crew went above and beyond the call of duty to comply with a couple of my travel requests and the access to the airport is very convenient at about 18 minutes in early morning traffic. The hotel restaurant is casual but has nice food and a full menu with a nice atmosphere. The hotel is fairly small so advance reservations in season is likely a good idea. As usual the staff make all the difference.

“Across street from beach and some resturants”

Great place to stay if you have a car. Only attraction near by is beach across the street with snack shop and couple resturants. Good food if you like fish. Closest to Airport, quite a distant from Rome central city.

“I am impressed”

I stayed at a hotel for several nights and was really surprised with the new renovated room and service quality for a price I paid. The hotel staff was extremely handfull and promptly responded to my questions via emails. The hotel location is prime - two blocks away from the city center. I would definitely recommend my room to stay at a hotel - it looks exactly as it at Expedia pictures.

“Very Enjoyable Stay”

Stayed here for 2 nights to relax by the beach before going back to US. Cab fare was less than I expected from the Vatican area, EURO65 about a 45 minute drive, hotel in Rome called the taxi & got the rate! Maybe more if you do it yourself! Couldnt be happier, ate at the hotel one night food was good. Better though walked to the main street about 300 yards from the hotel & ate in a family Italian restuarant, food & wine was cheap & excellent. Beach club across from the hotel was nice as well ate lunch there.

“Quiet lovely spot on the Italian Riviera”

I needed a quiet place to rest, close to Fumichino Airport...and this quiet little hotel was across the street from the beach. They provided me with a card to access the beach, a beach towel to use and the freedom to come and go. When leaving for the airport, they arranged for a private shuttle that was quite pleasant and personable. I was very happy with this stay and this place.
