Fantastic!!Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, inviting and peaceful
Cons: Robes in the room?
Location: Just across the street from the beach and a 5 minute walk to the local pier and shops.
Truly enjoyed our weekend getaway staying in the Lilac room. Accommodations were comfortable and inviting. We very much enjoyed a couples (deep) massage during our stay...Ella and Caroline were just wonderful! Thanks to Shelly and everyone for the great experience and excellent breakfast. We will be back!

A Rare GemPosted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I wanted a hotel right on the beach, with access to wonderful restaurants and a real feeling of sea and sand. We received that and more during our wonderful stay at the Wild Orchid. Situated near but not right in one of the more upscale neighborhoods on Florida's East Coast, we found everything to be deluxe, from the local Publix (supermarket) to the incredible food. The hosts are warm and inviting, the spa treatments a bit of heaven, the ocean steps away across from A1A, the balcony view sublime, the cooked-to-order breakfast simply wonderful (the proprietors were in the restaurant business for years)...I could go on and on. I didn't even mention the 100 degree mineral pool... Go! Soon!

"Old Florida" experiencePosted Apr 1, 2013
Nice stay if you want an "Old Florida" experience in a sleepy little beach community without alot of development where you can actually see the sun come up over the Atlantic Ocean without high-rise condominiums getting in the way.

Great Get AwayPosted Mar 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
The bed and breakfast is amazing,, the owners wonderful. if you plan on arriving after 6pm call and confirm arrival time, breakfast is cooked to order awesomeness. if you are there on Friday morning (staying thursday night) the farmers market is great and only a 3 minute walk. Take advantage of the hot pool and massage as an extra treat. will stay there again!

A Sweet Little Place for An Okay StayPosted Mar 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owners were helpful and kind. The location is outstanding. The spa was just okay. The heated mineral pool was an unexpected surprise. The room was mediocre.

Pleasant surprisePosted Mar 20, 2013
Pros: heated pool, large room
Cons: noisy in the morming if you stay in Leah's room
Location: directly across from the beach
Very nice and relaxing place to stay. The outside appearance isn't great but the inside is a unexpected surprise. Anyone who is a late sleeper should not stay in Leah's room. It is off of the main gathering room where everyone has breakfast. So it can get a bit noisy. Other than that it was a great stay with two pools open 24 hours and one is heated.
