“Great Hotel”

Never know what you get when you reserve online, but this was a great one! Looks just like brand new inside and out. Beds were very hard, but as luck would have it, they were putting new mattresses the very day we checked out !!! Saw the pile of old ones behind the place, so I know it was true. To late for us, but not for you. If I stay in Flag again, it definately will be here.

“Great for the price in Flagstaff”

I've stayed there twice, once when it was still the Travel Lodge and now that it's the Days Inn. The first time it was a little run down, but now they have really tried to make some upgrades to the rooms and the condition of the hotel in total. My room was obviously upgraded with granite counter tops, tile and new carpeting. The front desk clerk was very, very nice and patient. When going to Flagstaff I will try to book there over any place else. The only complaint I had was the hot tub was full of kids and they should implement a rule that between 9 - 10 PM it's only for adults and not to be used as a splash pad.

“New Flag Fave!”

Just remodeled and VERY clean! Spacious, well appointed rooms. Very friendly staff. There were a couple of nice hang out lounges for early risers etc to read or whatever. The location is so so. Good breakfast spot across the street. The only downside is the teeny pool and spa which is also very dimly lit. Great spot though which is my new Flag fave!

“Good for the price.”

This was a good hotel for the price I paid. The location was good and there was nothing bad about the stay and the staff was friendly.

“Flagstaff convenience hotel”

Hotel was easy to find and get to, registration personnel was courteous and efficient, liked the attached restaurant, appreciated the USA newspaper, would like to have stayed longer to take advantage of the very nice looking indoor pool and the exercise facilities.

“Nice hotel and restaurant”

Just passing through flagstaff and stayed at the Days. Location of hotel was very convenient to all major highways that pass through town. Room was clean and neat. Safe did not work but didn't bother to call front desk. Hotel had a pool that looked nice but I didn't take advantage of it. Biggest surprise was the restaurant (whispering pines or something like that). Great selection of beers on tap and chicken sandwich was very good. Front desk and restaurant staff were all very pleasant. More on the room: bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was showing it's age but again was clean and neat. Room also had microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. All in all was definitely worth what I paid.

“Could be better”

Hotel was in the middle of a transition (from travelodge to days inn) and remodel. We were given 2 older rooms - 1 w/ king bed, 1 w/2 queens. Both were roomy and comfortable. Rooms were short on the towels even though we declared at booking that we were with kids. Rooms came with refrigerator and microwave and that was a plus for us. Front desk was ok. We had a problem with TV in one room and eventually, they replaced it. Amenities: Pool is basic, not heated. Fitness room has a couple of cardio machines, nothing else. Sauna for men and women separate. Breakfast: No included. The Hog's restaurant had a great deal on a good breakfast. Definitely recommend breakfast there.

“Great value, but be aware ...”

I would recommend this hotel, but it was a close call. On the plus side, we felt it was a great value, and the location is excellent (right off I-40 in Flagstaff). The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite (perhaps the best I've ever experienced). They have some nice amenities for a hotel of this price (pool, sauna, whirlpool, longue, newspapers, free wireless, etc.). On the minus side, rooms for 4 (or 5 with a cot) are pretty small. Not a lot of extra room. Some of the sheets and spreads were old (had holes in them). For some reason, the maids didn't clean at all one day, and they didn't give us enough towels, toilet paper, etc. when they did clean. Overall, the maid service was probably the worst I've ever experienced. Again, it's ironic, since the front desk people are terrific. Also, we went in December, and the parking lot didn't seem to have been plowed, so it was icy. The parking lot itself seems a bit small. You can't turn left out of the parking lot onto E. Butler Ave, which makes travel a bit more challenging at times. In summary, overall, I would recommend the hotel for its value and friendly front desk staff. But to some extent, you're getting what you pay for.

“5/12/12”

I found a hair in the bath tub. Yuk! We couldn't open the sliding door. The pillows were way too soft and the bed was way too hard. Everything else was fine.

“Very unsatisfactory service”

No handicap entry! Had to unload and go through lobby and conference hallway where there was a meeting in progress to get to our room. The young people at the desk looked at me like I was crazy and even remarked 'oh he's in a wheelchair' - no he isn't but in need of assistance to get where he needs to go. No help with luggage and the manage in fact walked away into another room when he saw I was struggling. Restaurants food was awful and very strange combinations and expensive for what it was. Would not stay there again. Beds extremely firm. Room configuration strange with cute balcony where cigarette butts were all over for a non smoking hotel? Burn marks in the blankets.
