“Not Impressed”
Apparently the hotel is in the process of renovations, however, it smelled old and smoky. The rooms while having a few new things, such as lamp shades, had many things that were still old and dirty. Mostly run down. I made a switch from another place due to the price being a little more and thinking that it would be nicer, however, I was sadly mistaken. It may be better when the renovations are finished but I doubt it. The front desk is very nice giving the impression that the rest of the hotel is in the same shape, NOT TRUE.
“Great location”
Hotel is right off the freeway and next door to a Denny's and gas station. Room conditions and ammenties are on par with the price. Daughter and I were staying here for 1 night on our way to California. We loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi! Be sure to check out downtown Flagstaff if you have the time!
“Flagstaff convenience hotel”
Hotel was easy to find and get to, registration personnel was courteous and efficient, liked the attached restaurant, appreciated the USA newspaper, would like to have stayed longer to take advantage of the very nice looking indoor pool and the exercise facilities.
“Good for the price.”
This was a good hotel for the price I paid. The location was good and there was nothing bad about the stay and the staff was friendly.
“Great Hotel”
Never know what you get when you reserve online, but this was a great one! Looks just like brand new inside and out. Beds were very hard, but as luck would have it, they were putting new mattresses the very day we checked out !!! Saw the pile of old ones behind the place, so I know it was true. To late for us, but not for you. If I stay in Flag again, it definately will be here.
“Great for the price in Flagstaff”
I've stayed there twice, once when it was still the Travel Lodge and now that it's the Days Inn. The first time it was a little run down, but now they have really tried to make some upgrades to the rooms and the condition of the hotel in total. My room was obviously upgraded with granite counter tops, tile and new carpeting. The front desk clerk was very, very nice and patient. When going to Flagstaff I will try to book there over any place else. The only complaint I had was the hot tub was full of kids and they should implement a rule that between 9 - 10 PM it's only for adults and not to be used as a splash pad.
“Could be better”
Hotel was in the middle of a transition (from travelodge to days inn) and remodel. We were given 2 older rooms - 1 w/ king bed, 1 w/2 queens. Both were roomy and comfortable. Rooms were short on the towels even though we declared at booking that we were with kids. Rooms came with refrigerator and microwave and that was a plus for us. Front desk was ok. We had a problem with TV in one room and eventually, they replaced it. Amenities: Pool is basic, not heated. Fitness room has a couple of cardio machines, nothing else. Sauna for men and women separate. Breakfast: No included. The Hog's restaurant had a great deal on a good breakfast. Definitely recommend breakfast there.
