Grand Canyon alternativePosted Oct 22, 2013
Location: The hotel is near Sedona.
The property is dated for a Hampton Inn. It could stand an upgrade. The breakfast foods are spread around the room in some unusual ways. You have to wander about a large, busy space in search of items. The staff was very pleasant and we were happy to have the room while we awaited the opening of the Grand Canyon.

The hotel was very nice, but I thought it was a little pricey.

Nothing fancy but clean and free breakfastPosted Aug 24, 2013
Stayed one night. Typical for this type of hotel. Nothing exciting about room, but was impressed because the bathroom was really clean- spotless! We were on first floor next to the gym and indoor pool but no noise issues. Our window was just a below- ground well with no view- fine for us but if you are staying for a few days might want to request a higher floor. Lobby is on second floor so first floor is basically the basement. Free breakfast was good- lots of choices and a few hot items like scrambled eggs, oatmeal, make- your own Belgian waffles. We had no trouble parking, as others have mentioned, they share a lot with a gas station and fast food place but for us it was convenient to gas up on our way out. Location is great, a block off the interchange of 17 and 40.

Hotel reviewPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: A room was available last minute.
Cons: Bed, headboard and breakfast food at all Hampton Inns.
Location: Centrally located.
The room had a kitchen as we reserved what was available so we spent more than we needed for one night. At $189 per night the bed was hard and the headboard height when sitting to watch TV was too low and it hit your head when leaning back. The room view was supposed to have had a "mountain view" but we looked at a parking lot. We went and got our own breakfast cause the scrambled eggs were awful and there wasn't anymore oatmeal at 8 am. I think we'll try somewhere else next time.

Pros: Staff, Location
Location: Flagstaff is awesome. Close to Grand Canyon
Nice hotel, Great beds. Staff was excellent. Checked out about 4:30 am (before breakfast was served) and front desk clerk made us to go bags with muffins, water, granola bars.

Older hotel, but spacious.Posted Aug 4, 2013
Could do with refurbishment--seems very dated. The room was quite large, though.

Great!Posted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
My stay was enjoyable and the location was great with restaurants and shopping nearby. However, the hotel is near a major interstate, so the traffic can be heard in the room.

Overall great service. Things didn't take long to get resolved . Clean, quiet and a Good breakfast. Recommend to anyone staying a few days or just one night. The pool was too busy with a lot of kids even late at night. There should be family hours set.
