Weekend to see our son at college.Posted Jan 24, 2014
Noisey; Couldn't regulate heat in the room, off, low or high. Breakfast was not up to usual Hampton standard. Beds were hard , pillows were terrible. Always pick Hampton but this was a let down.

not a good choicePosted Jan 10, 2014
we paid $132 per night (tax included) and got a $60 room in my opinion, very small and tight room, no refrigerator unless you ask for one, mattresses were very uncomfortable and were losing springiness, pillows were basic cheap hotel pillows that were uncomfortable, duvet was lumpy, room was clean for the most part, TV and lighting was good, door had a gap around it so you could see hallway light in the room at night, water pressure was good and water was hot, toiletries were lower quality and not very plentiful, heater was noisy and rattled occasionally but we needed it on to drown out the horrible traffic noise from the freeway on ramp right outside the window, staff was great, breakfast and coffee was great, good location to stores/gas/restaurants/fast food/freeways

Pros: indoor pool, excellent breakfast choices, decorated for holiday.
Cons: our room did not have any view-felt a little closed-in
Location: excellent location for sledding and ski-hill
Attentive staff, comfortable beds and very clean room and bathroom.

Grand Canyon alternativePosted Oct 22, 2013
Location: The hotel is near Sedona.
The property is dated for a Hampton Inn. It could stand an upgrade. The breakfast foods are spread around the room in some unusual ways. You have to wander about a large, busy space in search of items. The staff was very pleasant and we were happy to have the room while we awaited the opening of the Grand Canyon.

Just love Flagstaff, and this hotel did not let us down in any way at all. From the moment we arrived we were very comfortable. They have a beautiful ambience in the public areas and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Accessible to some great restaurants which was a big bonus too.

The hotel was very nice, but I thought it was a little pricey.

Nothing fancy but clean and free breakfastPosted Aug 24, 2013
Stayed one night. Typical for this type of hotel. Nothing exciting about room, but was impressed because the bathroom was really clean- spotless! We were on first floor next to the gym and indoor pool but no noise issues. Our window was just a below- ground well with no view- fine for us but if you are staying for a few days might want to request a higher floor. Lobby is on second floor so first floor is basically the basement. Free breakfast was good- lots of choices and a few hot items like scrambled eggs, oatmeal, make- your own Belgian waffles. We had no trouble parking, as others have mentioned, they share a lot with a gas station and fast food place but for us it was convenient to gas up on our way out. Location is great, a block off the interchange of 17 and 40.

Pros: A room was available last minute.
Cons: Bed, headboard and breakfast food at all Hampton Inns.
Location: Centrally located.
The room had a kitchen as we reserved what was available so we spent more than we needed for one night. At $189 per night the bed was hard and the headboard height when sitting to watch TV was too low and it hit your head when leaning back. The room view was supposed to have had a "mountain view" but we looked at a parking lot. We went and got our own breakfast cause the scrambled eggs were awful and there wasn't anymore oatmeal at 8 am. I think we'll try somewhere else next time.
