“Pleasant stay”
We stayed in Flagstaff because airefare was cheaper than any other airport, and we looked for everywhere to stay close to the Grand Canyon. It was last minutes plan, so all hotels close to the Canyon were booked, but I glad that we stayed in Flagstaff. Two days we went to West (2hours by car) and South (1 hour) Grand Canyon, and Third day we went to Sedona (45minutes), where are opposite direction from the Grand Canyon. It was cold in April. It snowed first night, but hotel was very pleasant. We had Free Wi-Fi internet and Free Buffet Breakfast. It was alot selections, and they also have good chocolate chip cookies in the lobby for afternoon snack. The room was cleaned everyda,y and they provide us clean towels everyday. Many pillows and comfortable beds. Swimming pool and spa were good, toono complain. very good! We went to Blackburt for dinner. It was 5 minutes from the hotel. They played musical on the stage. We also went to Pink Hog right next to the hotel. Waitress was very nice! Nice cute city!!
“Good rate, comfortable hotel”
Keep the fan on the hvac unit on at all times and you wont hear the dreaded trains. I am a light sleeper and found this worked great.
“nice experience”
It was a satisfying experience for us.
“Pleasant”
Was not super impressed by the hotel, but our stay was still quite pleasant. Room was very clean. The bed hard & a bit uncomfortable, shower not consistent temperature. Breakfast great, staff friendly and helpful. Was not bothered by nearby train at night.
“Close to I-40, Grand Canyon”
A convenient stop-over en route to the Grand Canyon from I-40. Hotel undergoing renovations, but hot breakfast was good and room was clean and comfortable.
“Nice Breakfast”
We did hear several trains during the day, but none during the night (and I'm a lite sleeper). The toilet was leaking, but maintenance came up and fixed it right away. Nice and clean room.
“good free breakfast”
For a free breakfast, I was impressed. Lots of variety. The elevators take forever! Room w/2 queens was small and shower curtain doesn't fit. Overall, I would still stay there again.
“Clean but age shows”
Good location off I-40 as a base to visit Grand Canyon. A bit cheaper than Williams. Clean but a bit old. Has 2 very small, slow and old elevators. We wanted to get back to our room quickly to pick up our stuff before heading to GC. But we were much delayed because we needed to line up behind a bunch of cleaning staff with carts loaded with towels, etc. about to go up to clean the rooms. Breakfast buffet was great.
“Great Staff and Breakfast”
Although the hotel was off the beaten path, it was a great option for us travelers. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. Only downside was that the hotel is nowhere near historic downtown, if that's what you're looking for.
“Not bad at all”
Pretty typical; clean, comfortable, nothing outstanding but was very satisfied with the room and hotel. The front desk staff was really helpful though, and went out of their way to help us find a movie theater, even printed out directions and the movies and times!
