Passing through Town

Cons: The rate was too high for the property as the property is in need of renovation.
Location: We went to the Grand Canyon.
When checking in, there was NO-ONE at the desk. While waiting I could hear a woman talking VERY loud. This conversation was coming from behind a closed door behind the desk area. A few minutes went by when a lady jumped over the front desk! I could not believe my eyes! I expect she was an employee, but was dressed in a sloppy tank top and shorts. I was stunned! She went to the back room to tell someone that I wanted to check-in. Once the door opened, I heard much louder yelling and arguing! The person doing the yelling was obviously intoxicated and out of control. Once the clerk came out of the back room, she apologized profusely, over and over. She did tell me the person was an employee that was indeed drunk, and the manager was talking with her. In my opinion, the manager should have immediately fired this employee, and send her home in a cab! The front desk clerk was very professional and very nice. Once I checked-in, and went to our room, everything was nice and quiet.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were told that we did not have our rooms. The hotels in the area overbooked. My husband told them that we booked through Expedia and that we paid in advance. They told my husband that they were going to call Expedia and have them refund our money. They converse some more. They finally gave us our rooms. We were suppose to get queen size beds and the beds looked like full size beds.

First visit to the Grand Canyon

Pros: Comfort and cleanliness
Cons: Continental Breakfast and newspaper should be offered.
Location: Close enough to the Grand Canyon and some pretty good restaurants in town.
The Hotel was very clean and the staff great. I did however miss the continental breakfast I experience in other hotels as well as a complentary USA Today Newspaper. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and my wife throughly enjoyed the king sized bed, very comfortable. Overall a very good experience.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Internet connection facility should be good.
Location: Located near downtown area as well as rail road station.
Overall it was all well except wi-fi which was not working which caused lot of inconvenience as now a days internet connection is a necessity. Good location.
