“Cheap hotel but noisy and cold”

We got the bus parking in front of our room and each morning at 7am we could enjoy the noise of it during about 1 hour. Moreover our room only had a noisy AC/heater and not efficient at all. So we recommend it only if you have not our room

“time spent in flagstaff”

tho the hotel is on the old side, the room was clean and comfortable. The waffles for breakfast were good. Would stay here again!

“Not great, but ok for a cheaper hotel”

This hotel was just ok overall, for the price. The king bed was quite comfortable, even more so than the one at a much nicer hotel we stayed at in Sedona!.. but the bathroom was not very clean...toothpaste smear on counter,sink drain smelled moldy, hair in tub and on floor..ugh! It seems all hotels are less clean than ever in this price range. Also the traffic noise on street out front was quite noticeable but we managed to sleep thru it. There was a kitchenette and fridge, so that was nice. The woman at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Overall I would stay here again if needing a cheap room..bring some clorox wipes, which I usu. do anyway when traveling.

Area recommendations
See the Riordan Mansion! It is wonderful history for the area, and drive out to the SnowBowl..gorgeous scenery! We love the Flagstaff Brewery (if you like a microbrewery.) Try the Pear Burger and garlic chips! Picazzos Pizza and Chipotle are also great. Skip the Galaxy Diner...lousy food.

“Great for the price”

The room with king bed was huge, with fridge and microwave; the breakfast was better than most other motels we did (you can make your own waffles). Some good places to eat close by.

Area recommendations
We stayed in that motel on our way back from Grand Canyon. It is a good place to stay if you are heading towards Walnut Canyon or Sedona / Montezuma Castle, all great places to see.

“Hidden charges”

I was surprised at the pet charge I had to pay at check-in. We travel with a cat. I had to get the room key reset three times before they gave me one that worked. The morning clerk does not like to clean up the breakfast area in the lobby, she was slamming things around with a bad attitude. We did get to spend a restful night in a clean room, though.

“Comfortable Beds!”

I thought for the price this was a great value. Mini refrigerator in the room and the beds were very comfortable.

When to go
Walmart is nearby for any things you might want in the refrigerator.
Dining
Cracker Barrel is next door and I had a great breakfast there.

“The mattress was the bomb!!!”

For the price we paid, the room was great!. The mattress was a temper-pedic..slept like an angel.

“Not worth the price!”

Beds very uncomfortable, everything looks old . Tv was not working good. Not satisfied.
