Very good, I do recommend itWe staPosted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: Room seemed well-kept and clean.
Location: A little bit far from Downtown/University area Flagstaff, but about a 10 minute drive in the cold and fog.
We stayed 2 nights in a comfortable, cozy room. I had booked only one night and I booked the 2nd night via Expedia and the front desk staff accommodated us with no problem at all.

Decent for a quick tripPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a last minute trip to Flagstaff & we choose this hotel since it was recently renovated. The hotel is clean but had some issues withy the door closing so we mobed rooms. The restaurant next door is great and would be a better choice even if they did offer Continential breakfast there.

Cleanliness and Comfort reviewPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: The room were nice, it was next to a restuarant.
Cons: Perhaps set the rooms prior at a comfortable setting, making sure equipment work.
Location: We just stayed the night so we didn't get to do any thing near by.
Our recent stay was disappointing in that one of the two rooms had some problems with the heater, it wouldn't heat properly and was blowing cool air even when set at the high heat setting. The other problem we had was that one of our two years old happened to find a half empty bottle of beer under the bed the evening we spent the night, and again another unopened bottle of beer under the same bed in the morning. The first time he was looking for a toy that happened to roll under the bed; the second time he was looking for the remote. All who stayed in the room are non-drinkers so it had to have been there from a previous occupant, therefore the room wasn't cleaned properly.

Not Recommended!Posted Dec 1, 2013
Cons: Warm water, non-smoking rooms, and friendly staff all needed!
As we entered our hotel room (a non-smoking room), we immediately smelled cigarette smoke. The room was dark, somewhat dingy, and very loud - there are two train tracks located just across the street. We heard the trains all night. We visited in late November and the heater was not on and the room was about 50 degrees. The bed was not comfortable in the slightest and when we awoke, we turned on the shower. At first, we thought there was no hot water at all, however, we left the water running and 10 minutes later the shower FINALLY got luke-warm. We were extremely thankful to leave, yet when we approached the front desk at 6 in the morning, there was no one behind the counter. There was a man standing in the middle of the room and my husband asked if he had seen the attendant. (We had to speak up first.) He then told us "that's me" and after an awkward silence, we said we needed to check out. PLEASE stay at the Howard Johnson on Lucky Lane in Flagstaff instead. We stayed at that location a week previously, and it was significantly better than this location. It also had free wifi and a complementary breakfast.

load, nonfunctional fixtures, COLD bathroomPosted Nov 24, 2013
Cons: thicker windows to avoid train noise, fix items listed above. not a happy camper this trip...
Location: downtown Flagstaff, snow, skiing.
Ok hotel. Good price. Light switch did NOT work. Light on desk did NOT work. Bathroom VERY cold, not heat near. Shower stall too low and water was all over bathroom floor. door did not close easily, had to slam hard. VERY LOAD FRIEGHT TRAINS across the street EVERY 10-15 MINUTES ALL NIGHT LONG! Terrible! Did not get any sleep. Confronted lady at front desk in am, she said ok but refused to do anything about it. I told them they NEED to disclose the freight trains across the street. NOT FAIR for guests. They need to be able to make an informed decision.

Train runs all nightPosted Nov 22, 2013
Do not stay here. It's right near a railroad with a train running all night, about every 10 minutes. Also the walls are paper thin. I could hear the people upstairs jumping and banging around all night. My family didn't get any sleep. The room itself was ok.

Good Place to SleepPosted Nov 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
We just needed a place to sleep for a few days and this hotel was perfect for us. The room was very clean and was recently renovated. The staff was very helpful when we locked ourselves out of our room. The heater always kept our room warm in the evening when it got really cold in Flagstaff. The only drawback with the hotel was it's location across the street from the train tracks. However, it only bothered us for a few minutes before the sound of the trains became somewhat soft background noise and helped us sleep. It's a recommended hotel for the weary traveler who just needs a bed for the night.
