“Great staff”

I arrived early and the staff went out of their way to check me in early. While I was waiting for my room the front desk staff gave me dinner suggestions. They were all very kind and the housekeepers even stopped by after I had checked in to be sure everything in the room was ok. For the price this room was a great deal. The hotel is older, but has a wonderful staff and the room was clean.

“Great Staff”

I want to send a special thank you the Hotel and the gentleman working the desk in the early afternoon who got me into a room before checkin so that I could prepare for a 3:00pm game.

“Traveling with Pets”

One of the few places with a restuarant attached - front desk polite and helpful. Cat and dog liked it fine (for an extra $10/each)

“HO JO Stay”

The room was OK for place to stay but first the key did not work and had to get another. Second the door was very hard to open and close. Third on our third night stay when we returned to the room the room was not made up and when we complained to the management they said oops. Fourth the fire alarm started to beep and went off, when we inquired about it they said it was nothing and if it went out again to disconnect it. I would probably find a Motel 6 or Travel lodge on my next stay there as all I need is a clean room and a clean bead to stay. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless one needed to of a night.

“Howard Johnson”

The train noise didn't bother me, but others might be bothered by it. Hotel was alright for what we needed, just a place to lay our heads for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Hotel needs some work done on it, but overall was clean.

“Skip this hotel! You won't get any sleep.”

Here is what this hotel doesn't advertise. Directly next to the hotel are railroad tracks. The train goes by every 30 minutes and it is not quiet. Forget trying to get a decent night of sleep. The other thing you won't know until it's too late is that across the street is a bar that plays live music late into the night. That might be fine if you are into that stuff, you can hit the bar, enjoy the music and walk to your hotel....but if you are a family with young kids, their sleep will be disturbed by the music (and then the train). In my opinion, drive passed this hotel until you find one that is not near the train tracks!!!!
