Upon arrival there was nowhere to park in the hotel parking lot, large vehicles taking up several spots. Going to sleep at night there was loud base music and loud voices until the wee hours of the morning and nothing was done about it. Paid a lot to stay here and couldn't get any sleep.

Nice, clean rooms. Very friendly staff especially Giana at the front desk. The breakfast was very good. The pool area was very nice. We were very happy with our stay and would come back.

Pros: convenient location for shopping and campus, no train noise, large room with two windows and large bathroom, separate dressing area with mirror
woman that welcomed up at front desk was quite rude. I tried to brush it off but then in the elevator my 12 year old commented about how rude she was to me! The beds were horribly uncomfortable, very firm, and sheets not soft. The sheets on one of the beds had huge stains on them. Our friends stayed there that night as well and they slept horrible too. Pictures of hotel look nice online, but comfort and staff need improvement! Breakfast was as expected for quality of hotel, but coffee was terrible.

La Quinta fits our budget.

Pros: Spacious area for free breakfast with a good variety of food.
Cons: The lobby is pretty, but elevator had part of wall missing, white spot on our rug, and our mirror had water spots yet.
Location: We really enjoyed the tour of the Lowell Observatory.
We usually don't spend a lot on motel rooms, but the night before we had stayed at a Hilton brand place in Santa Fe. So, we felt that this motel was really just getting older, run down, and not as clean as we expected. We've had better experiences at other La Quintas.

Bathroom was was dirty, stained hand towel. Internet service was a joke. Walls seemed paper thin you could hear people coming and going. Room above us sounded like it was occupied by a family of elephants. Will never stay here again.

Really Nice Room Layout

Pros: Big room, comfortable bed
Cons: There was a good amount of wear and tear all around.Particularly in the bathroom. It was clean, but the shower soap dish wouldn't hold soap, etc.
Location: Was helping my daughter move..didn't sightsee
The La Quinta Inn & Suites in Flagstaff was a good deal for the price. Continental breakfast, spacious room, freindly staff...and cheaper than Marriott Courtyard! The room was not the newest, but it had eveything I needed in a hotel. The room was very large, I like the way the door is at an angle...much easier to carrry lots of bags in. The staff was nice and I felt very comfortable there.

Pros: it was close to everything we wanted to do; such as shopping and good restaurants
Cons: more towels in rooms
Location: red lobster was great and so was cocos that was across the street
we had a very nice stay with a professional staff and very clean room; it was awesome

Clearly short staffed...room could use and upgrade

arrived at 4pm and found 7 guests ahead of me in the check-in line.....and only 1 staff at the desk. Despite the long line (more guests arrived behind me) the clerk continued to answer the phone and also push the frequent guest program to each guest resulting in the check-in for each guest to be longer as each guest signed up for the program. It took almost 40 minutes to get checked in because the clerk never called/rang for help. The room was just ok...sinks and tub were rust stained or something. The hotel allows pets and so each night we heard lots of barking dogs through the thin walls...The breakfast was lame...and unattended by any staff after initial setup...other than to switch the coffee..trash cans overflowed, cereal dispensers were left empty etc...

Front staff is rude and belligerent.

Before I left to go skiing I requested my room to be cleaned by 1:00 pm. When I returned back at 1:30 pm the room was not cleaned. I went to the front counter where I encountered the rudest, nastiest, and belligerent staff person. When I asked why the room was not cleaned, she said they it wasn't done and then proceeded to text message on her cell phone. I told her I was used to better service and I would like to have my room cleaned. She reminded me that it was no longer 1950 and that the room will be cleaned when the room would be cleaned. She then ignored me and went back to her cell phone. I will never stay at this hotel again.
