“An aboslute gem!”

This was an absolute gem of a place to stay at in Williams AZ. The entire home and all of the rooms are neat and clean. The amenities and the breakfast in the mornings were great as well. The owners are friendly and truly wonderful people. It is located within walking distance of the downtown strip on Route 66. If ever go out this way again, I will definitely stay here!

our GPS took us to a big house in a residential section with no cars around, no sign and "For Sale" signs in the front yard. Not wanting to knock on the door of the wrong house, we headed back to the visitors bureau a couple miles away to seek direction. Since this was a very small town I was convinced they would tell us where it was. They informed us they thought it was closed and tried to call a number that was disconnected. I called Expedia explained what was going on and they called the hotel and said for us to go back and ring the doorbell. I was ringing the bell when the owner showed up very upset that I had told Expedia they were closed. I tried to explain that we were not sure it was the right house and that was information we had been given and it went downhill from there. We ended up not staying due to the hostile environment. Please make sure you read ALL the reviews including trip advisor. There were warnings in these reviews we did not pick up on. In all fairness it is a nice house of what i saw inside and the room looked nice, but things had already been said by the owner that could not be taken back.
