One of the nicest places close to YellowstonePosted Jun 20, 2013

Cons: see above
Location: didn't linger in town
Because the owner's wife was away and he had to improvise, I am making allowances for rather abrupt greeting [but at breakfast I got to know him as very likeable fellow], but not for the round window through which light in the general room below shone very brightly--a nutty idea--so avoid that room. Otherwise, room was fine. Breakfast was okay, but again the fellow had to make do without his wife. So assume all will be well in all categories if she is present. As for any improvements one may suggest, buy the place. It's for sale. Off the main drag, so put up a huge sign. Give it a go.

Not worth the price!Posted Jun 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was like staying in someones home, noises through the walls. No help with luggage, breakfast served for only a limited time. Never again!

Please read all the reviews including trip advisorPosted Mar 20, 2013
our GPS took us to a big house in a residential section with no cars around, no sign and "For Sale" signs in the front yard. Not wanting to knock on the door of the wrong house, we headed back to the visitors bureau a couple miles away to seek direction. Since this was a very small town I was convinced they would tell us where it was. They informed us they thought it was closed and tried to call a number that was disconnected. I called Expedia explained what was going on and they called the hotel and said for us to go back and ring the doorbell. I was ringing the bell when the owner showed up very upset that I had told Expedia they were closed. I tried to explain that we were not sure it was the right house and that was information we had been given and it went downhill from there. We ended up not staying due to the hostile environment. Please make sure you read ALL the reviews including trip advisor. There were warnings in these reviews we did not pick up on. In all fairness it is a nice house of what i saw inside and the room looked nice, but things had already been said by the owner that could not be taken back.

Great Place to UnwindPosted Mar 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
We visited Legacies just to escape the valley for a weekend, but this would be a great place for a full vacation as well. It is a cozy, clean and comfortable place to be, much better than an impersonal hotel. Linda and Ron were delightful and welcoming. We highly recommend Legacies and would not hesitate to stay there again when we find ourselves visiting the area.

dated & coldPosted Oct 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very hard to find in the dark, and the phone number from hotels.com was incorrect as was the information that internet and cable were included. Only a portable room heater was provided that had no thermostat, so we were very uncomfortable all night getting up and down to turn it off and on as we got cold then hot then cold then hot! The decor is very dated and the amenities scarce. She also tried to charge us extra, saying the fees were greater than stated online for a one night stay.

An aboslute gem!Posted Aug 15, 2011
This was an absolute gem of a place to stay at in Williams AZ. The entire home and all of the rooms are neat and clean. The amenities and the breakfast in the mornings were great as well. The owners are friendly and truly wonderful people. It is located within walking distance of the downtown strip on Route 66. If ever go out this way again, I will definitely stay here!
