“Never again”
Great place if you want to spend too much for a room. Great place if you have kids...they're racing in the hallways Literally! Our room was large...plenty of room. Not a comphy place to sit anywhere. The bathroom? Wow! From the sixties! And the worst part... $10 a day for wifi! Never stay here!!!
“Thanksgiving in Flagstaff”
Good value for the money. Rooms are in a sort of provencal decor. Not enough electric plugs for all our gizmos. No CD player. Nice place. Thanksgiving meal at the restaurant was great. Breakfast only so-so. Saturday after Thanksgiving there was a big to do with activities for kids, local choirs singing carols, Santa, and the lighting of the Christmas lights. The grounds had so many lights, it was quite magical. However, during the event it was very crowded and the parking lot was beyond full.
“Can't wait to go back when there is snow on the ground.”
My girls and I enjoyed the grounds around the hotel. My girls have been used to a more updated decor but my teenager was impressed with the decor.
“Best weekend ever!”
Excellent service clean room very happy customers!
“Flagstaff's hidden treasure”
Excellent location, very comfortable beds, quiet and a great value
“excellent value”
Midcentury feel. Roaring fire in the lobby. Clean tasteful enormous rooms. Pine forest next to the hotel with a 2 mile jogging or hiking path. Beside freeway but noise was not noticeable inside the hotel or on the hiking path. Worth 3 times the price of the room.
“Extremely comfortable and welcoming.”
This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome!
“Very convenient and reasonably priced”
Very convenient and reasonably priced. Very good food in restaurant and service throughout was great.
“A beautiful romantic backdrop of snow covered pine trees...very impressed.”
I took my husband for his 50th birthday on a long weekend to see the Grand Canyon. We stayed at this friendly and serene motel that was nestled among tall pine trees providing a very romantic setting. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. Suggestions to take the scenic 89A to Sedona were provided. We woke up one day to a crisp blanket of snow creating a scene only found in Curry and Ives photos. We viewed nature at its' best; squirrels, owls, deer and many types of birds as we strolled along the hiking path. The world that can best described the experience is "breathtaking". We cannot wait to revisit Flagstaff and stay in this wonderful, warm and comfortable motel.
“Very Nice Stay”
I thought the hotel and room were very nice. The place is obviously "older", but has been amazingly well maintained and upgraded over the years. Our room was very much on a par if not a bit more comfortable than resorts we have stayed at. I also liked the free WiFi (our previous night's lodging had wanted a $15 payment to check my email and download a book to my Xoom.
