“Southwest Traveler”
This hotel was convenient. Overnight stay before heading to Grand Canyon. The only negative was the free breakfast. Not adequate. However, there was a tour bus load of people eating that morning and they were pretty rude. Eating area was upstairs. Otherwise the staff was helpful with information and the room was adequate.
“Great hotel for the price.”
We only stayed here one night when we were passing through Flagstaff, but it was a comfortable and clean place to stay. The room was nice and spacious and we thought is was a great deal. The continental breakfast was above and beyond most continental breakfasts. No complaints from us.
“Pleasant Stay”
We had a good one night stay
“martians welcome”
The sign out front read, "No train noise" and "Martians welcome". There were several card board cut out "Martians" placed around the public areas. Huh. Not pleased about the condition of the parking lot. I was told to park in the rear of the building because it was nearest to where my room was. After following around a blind corner, dodging other vehicles on the ice I found no spaces. Did I mention the lot had been only partially plowed? I found a spot near an entrance on the far end of the building & parked there. I figured a long walk indoors would be safer than a long walk on thick ice. I asked at the desk about the location of the elevator & was told there was none & I received a look like I must be a ...Martian for even asking. So I lugged two suitcases & a laptop up the stairs. Room was clean, bed was extremely hard & looked like something from the 70's. For dinner we walked down to the restaurant at the bottom of the hill. We chose to walk down the icy steps with dangling caution tape over walking down the steep icy parking lot. The breakfast was hot, but not for long. It was set up in the lobby directly inside the front doors. There was no seating area for the diners on that floor. So if your hot breakfast wasn't cold before you hiked up the stairs to the second floor dining room & found no place to sit, it was by the time you juggled it back downstairs & found a couch to sit on.
“John”
This was a very clean, well maintained, and travel accessible hotel. It was close to NAU, Flagstaff mall, the fairgrounds, and downtown Flagstaff.
“Decent Hotel in Flagstaff”
Decent value for your money for an older hotel in Flagstaff. The hotel was somewhat hard to find at first because you had to access the hotel through a commercial area. The hotel was off the main road and up on a slight hill so it was very quiet at night. Close to Northern Arizona University. Hotel staff were very pleasant.
“Adequate, but not special”
Our stay was comfortable, but not wonderful. The room was a bit small, and the carpeting looked tired and a bit dirty. It was a quiet and peaceful location considering how close it is to a very busy thoroughfare. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise: freshly prepared eggs and sausage cooked on site, plus other usual offerings. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it if luxury is not required.
“Will go back”
I will go back, the breakfast was very good, and the staff was very friendly. It was very clean and good looking.
“Good Flagstaff Choice”
I was looking for a nice motel near the NAU campus. This is a solid choice among many.
