“Got to be the best in Flagstaff!”

The rooms in this all suite hotel are spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette was well stocked and clean. Our room had only one queen bed, so my son had to sleep in a sofa bed which is naturally lumpy -- not much you could do about that. Only other nit pik was that house keeping did not supply the room with new kleenex, or TP on the 2nd day. I mentioned this upon check out and the desk clerk was very apologetic and stressed that he would make a note of it. The staff was friendly, and the comp breakfast is excellent -- although with a room full of voracious guests, it was difficult for them to keep the serving trays full! Definitely check this place out if you are planning to stay in Flagstaff.

“Great Place but not local near things”

The place was great. My husband and I usally have a problem, but nothing. It's a bit further out of the city than we would have liked. It is a 5 min drive to NAU & to downtown. The breakfast was great. Some many different choices. The beds could have been a king size instead of a queen.

Unlike other hotel pictures on Expedia, this is the only one to exceed my expectations. It was like being at home. The customer service was world class and the amenities were top rate. Any time we return to Flagstaff we will be staying at the Residence Inn!

“Clean, comfortable but older”

This is an older property that is starting to show its age. However, the rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. My biggest complaint was the lack of seating for the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast room was filled so they had opened up one of the conference rooms for additional seating, but that was full too. We ended up going out to breakfast because we didn't want to wait for seating.

Convenient location, nicely furnished, lots of room, good accessibility for wheelchair. Toilet did not work well.

“At home at Residence Inn”

The breakfasts were great- hot and cold foods of every kind are available until 9:00 AM, and coffee at any time. There is a social mixer on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with light food and beverages supplied. The pool is outdoors and closed until the weather warms up, but the hot tub is available (outside). There is a tennis court and an indoor exercise room. The guest laundry is handy for long stays. I stayed for 10 days and felt right at home! My room had free high-speed (wired) internet and a fireplace, I was handed a fire log upon check in and was told that I could get one every night if I wished. The only thing that would have been better was if they had rooms with king sized beds. Residence Inn is on the north-west end of town, right off of I40, easy to get to. The college is on the other end of town, so something to keep in mind. My only complaint is that the maid service didn't leave an extra roll of toilet paper so we ran out on the last day!

“Lack of attention to detail”

We were given a dirty room and had to go back and exchange it. We were charged $100 for our dog when other Marriott properties don't charge.
