Should have checked out the Comfort Inn

Pros: Only the location to the train station and downtown area
Cons: A new building
Location: The town itself is a wonderful town locked into the 1950's. You can take the train to the Grand Canyon from here - only reason for visit.
It appears that most of the motels (or all that we could see) in Williams are in dire need of TLC. Brand new king bed was going into our room however they did not have the proper frame for it - you needed a step ladder to get up onto it and then you had to fight to keep from rolling out of it!! It sagged terribly in the corners. The curtains did not close properly and the room stayed lit up all night. The staff did switch us to another room (with 2 beds) for the 2nd night - but the overall feel of the place was dirty. It didn't look it, but it felt it.

Would stay here again!

Pros: The room. Very comfortable
Cons: More blankets during winter months.
Location: The awe inspiring Grand Canyon is about one hours drive away.
We were really happy with the room which was large and airy. The beds were comfortable but could have done with more blankets! The breakfast was rather poor, and the dining room was way too small, but overall I would rate this as good and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Hot tub open 24 hours- that was a nice feature.

Pros: Clean, convenient hours and 24 hr hot tub.
Location: Grand Canyon!
I only stayed one night and was so exhausted from hiking the Grand Canyon I simply showered and slept while there. The bathroom and room were clean, the shower was hot, that's all an exhausted hiker needs!

Somehow we were booked a smoking room when I specifically asked for NON Smoking because neither myself or my husband smoke and we had our 5 yr old with us. The room was so Unbearable to even walk into we had to PAY a $15 rokm.change fee to get what I thought u paid for originally NON SMOKING. Easy fix but had to pay for it, which made me upset.

Handy when the train is late

Pros: It was quiet.
We spent a short night between the train from Albuquerque and Grand Canyon. It was perfect for that.

Okay and basic.

Not too far from Williams station. About a ten minute walk. Avoid getting here too early cos your room may not be ready (not that it should be of course, but sometimes we all arrive before check in and get lucky to check in). Nothing in room advising of where to get a quick bite to eat etc (although Williams is so small that you probably can find it all yourself). Heating system was good. Typical motel-style place means Boise of neighbours gets in. Not a massive problem though.

Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced

Location: We took the Grand Canyon Railway ride with our children and grand children and ate at a very busy local cafe.
We needed a budget-friendly place for 1 night and this motel was great! The staff was very pleasant and professional. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Things are older, like the motel itself and the TV, but everything was in good working condition and well maintained. The breakfast was good with juices, milk, coffee, fresh muffins, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, etc. I would definitely recommend it!

Good overall

Pros: the location
Cons: breakfast
Location: very good location in Williams, one hour driving from Grand Canyon
Correct, just what you need for a one-night stay at a low price. the room is clean. However the quality of the free breakfast could be improved
