“A reasonable choice”

Great location (especially convenient for those arriving by train) and helpful staff. A good breakfast although somewhat less opulent than other higher-end hotels in Leuven. Poor soundproofing between rooms, but adjacent guests were well behaved during my stay.

“romantic get away”

stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 nights... it's strange that the concierge is located on the 2nd floor so you have to either take the cramped elevator or stairs to get there (not ideal if you have heavy luggage) the front desk was very nice and gave us information about the town leuven and places to eat as well as a map. at first, i was creeped out by the dark red hallway and the lifesize captain jack sparrow next to the elevator on the 3rd floor. but honestly it's all about location, location, location. our cozy room faced the theater across the street and you could open the windows to enjoy the scenery. we spent the night drinking wine by the window ledge. it's a view that even the 4 star hotel we had stayed at brussels lacked. overall, the room was kempt and the prices on their mini bar wasn't exorbitant. you pretty much get what you are paying for. don't forget to ask for a room facing the theater!

“Another Very Pleasant Trip”

My husband and I stayed at The Theater Hotel in Leuven, Belgium. We took the trip to visit our son and daughter-in-law who were expecting a baby. They did have the baby while we were there. Anyway, the hotel is very nice. We have been there before. It is comfortable, but the room was very small. There are no drawers to put clothing in, just some shelves. In the bathroom, there is no room to put toiletries, but we made the best of it keeping most of our things in suitcases. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Also the breakfast in the morning is delicious. There are cereals, fruit and yogurt. There is also juice and milk. The eggs and omelets are delicious and so are the different breads. There is plenty to eat (coldcuts also). The breakfast room is bright and very comfortable. The hotel is located in a convenient spot with restaurants and shopping all around. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would return.
