“Would definately come back”

I have lived in this area all of my life and Flint has taken quite a dive because of the economy but have been gone from this area in over a year. I was apprehensive about reserving a room in this area, but I have been more than impressed with the service, cleanliness and overall stay here. I reserved only 1 day, after only 8 hours here I decided I would spend my entire vacation here. I will be back, the cost was excellent and the service was even better.

“Will be returning”

I really enjoyed my stay, but I would like for them to offer all the local channels because of sports and news.but overall everything was fine.

“Enjoyed Myself”

The day was cold, wet, windy and rainy; I was in town early and wanted to check in before 3 pm, so I went to the hotel and was allowed to check in. The room was clean with all the amenities in place i.e. coffee maker with a rich blend of coffee, a comfortable king sized bed with pillows galore, a room heater that worked and most important a iron and ironing board. I requested a 3:45 am wake up call and it was right on time. Check out was a breeze, because I booked through Expedia everything was taken care of. The staff was courteous and neatly dressed. I would/will be staying again.

“Very nice”

very nice staff-when arrived, not a dirty spot anywhere-room as advertised-great weight room- comfy bed-large amount of teenagers staying down the hall, our room quiet-pool too crowded, not hotels fault-was a little hesitant to stay not knowing much about it, but very happy we did best value on whole vacation.

“Not Completely Happy”

We arived early about 12 noon and was told that the rooms were not ready yet, which is understandable. I asked when she would recommend that we return and she said that she would make sure that our room was ready about 3 - 3:30 pm. We returned at 3:30 and was told that the only rooms ready were on the second floor. The girl that we spoke to was not there and another lady was on the desk. I again explained that we needed a room on the first floor as one of our party was on oxogen and could not clinb stairs. There was not an elivator at this hotel. At first she said that, that was the best she could do. When I asked for a refund and we would go somewhere else, she said that if we would wait in the loby, she would get a room ready on the first floor. Giving her credit, she did get us a room. The only other complaint was that we had requested a room with two queen beds, which we recieved. It was a very large room with lots of space, but the only chair to set in was the one at the desk. a desk chair. With 3-4 people in a room with two queen beds, there should be more places, (chairs) then one.

“Decent rooms and beds amidst questionable surroundings...”

Hallways are smokey smelling and lack ambience. But rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Free continental style breakfast served that is decent. No elevator to second floor though. If you can get a good rate, it is an ok deal. Only other heads up - you may have a loud refrigerator in your room that you need to unplug in order to sleep!
