“Very Clean and Kind Staff”

I had a very nice stay, the staff was very helpful and kind, the hotel was very clean and had a nice fitness center. If you like a big breakfast all the eggs, sausage, and biscuits with gravy you want plus many other options . The only negative I could find is the hotel is located just outside of the city of Flint and there are no restaurants close by except for a China Buffett behind the hotel. You will have to hop on the the interstate and drive down a few exisits to eat at an AppleBees or Bob Evans. Overall I would return and would recommend to a friend.

“Accomodating staff”

Upon arrival, we were told the hotel was overbooked, and our request of a 2 bed room, was not available. So, they gave us two King rooms, for the price of 1. However, one room was just a double. Still we appreciated that they had a place for us and did not have to go elsewhere. The front desk was very friendly and pleasant. A nice hotel, typical breakfast, and comfortable beds.

Hotel staff is always pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast is very generous. Complimentary shuttle to the airport is very convenient.

“A very nice stay”

This was a clean and spacious room. It was lacking a vent in the bathroom so there was no air circulation while showering. The air conditioner rattled through the night making it impossible for a good nights sleep.

“Lived up to expectations”

Everything was great except for a couple nitpicks. The light in the room isn't shielded/frosted well enough and is very annoying. A ceiling light would have been better. Also, the outlets weren't easy to get to. I have a laptop and cell that need to be charged. One outlet was actually behind one of the beds. Overall though, I was satisifed.

“Impressive Flint Hotel”

My flight arrived at the Flint airport very late at night, so I stayed for one night until a car rental place opened. They picked me up for free from the airport. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. They also dropped me back off for free in the morning.

I can't say enough about the great staff at this hotel. I have stayed in a good number of hotels over the past few months and they beat all the others hands down. The hotel shuttle is at guests' disposal to areas within reasonable distance, not just to and from the airport. The shuttle brought my luggage to me when it picked me up from the hospital I had gone for a job interview, and dropped me off at the Amtrak station. The breakfast was also one of the best I have had amongst hotels of the same calibre. My main concern about this hotel when I made the booking was a previous review that had said the high speed internet was not working and appeared to have been out of order for a while. I guess it must have been repaired before I got there because I had no problems at all with it. Overall, I would stay there again if I happen to be to be in the the area in future.

Holiday Inn - Flint: Excellent staff. Very courteous and helpful. Especially the morning shift desk lady and the breakfast staff. Both are wonderful and both are very helpful - (for an old lady like me, who asked too many questions.) The breakfast staff kept the trays filled and coffee replenished. Wonderful staff. Our room is also clean and comfortable. I will definitely recommend it to others.

“Personnel exceptional. Amenities not so much”

The people were simply great. Check-in, breakfast service, and the people who make up the rooms were all first rate. The television was an embarrassment. Extremely poor focus to where one could not even read the news crawlers on bottom of news and sports channels. These relics from the 80's need to be replaced ASAP. Hotel was advertised as having free Wifi. Never worked while there 3 days. More importantly, no effort was made to fix it. The impression received was that it had been inoperable for weeks, or even months. For that reason alone I'd not go back as Internet access was critical to my visit. Finally, this is one of the most difficult to find access to. We drove around from various approaches until we finally found out to get there. Need more signage. The people tried so hard to please, especially the breakfast service. But hotel infrastructure seemed like the rest of Flint, on life support.
