Perfect!! Clean, Safe, and ComfyPosted Dec 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was very concerned about staying in Flint and was very careful about the hotel I chose. This hotel was perfect!! Great location and so clean and comfy. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

ok place to stayPosted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Ned to clean behind bedside stand, Moved it to plug in C-pap machine, and found LOTS of dust. A few more outlets close to bed would be nice.
Took some time to find, map quest took us to the wrong area. Pool was too cold. Breakfast was ok.

(Much) Better than average. Would do it againPosted Dec 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel rocks. Granted, I am not a customer who moves furniture to look for dustballs (unlike some reviewers). That said, I have 8 years experience staying in moderately priced hotels for my job. Hotel was clean, desk staff very welcoming (genuinely so), and accommodating. Place was light, bright, and no trace of ANY smoke odor (marijuana or otherwise) that others seem to have noticed on their trip -- and I tend to notice, as I am asthmatic. Very satisfied; not the Ritz-Carlton, but I wasn't expecting the Ritz. Breakfast better than most at this price point. Lack of elevator wasn't a problem for me, though I see how it could be. Pros: PRICE; clean spacious lobby, Christmas spirit; free room internet, clean SOFT towels, fridge and microwave in room; good basic breakfast (absolutely lousy scrambled eggs (the "round" kind), but also waffles, good coffee and FRESH pastries, not just stale donuts and cold coffee like some places); welcoming staff; close to airport with free shuttle. CONS: 1)the elevator thing; 2) saw one or two bumps and bruises on walls or furniture (would not have noticed if not for prior comments); and 3) probably some dust or a hair lurking behind the refrigerator or icemaker that I didn't actually see, because I lack the dogged determination of other reviewers and/or was actually tired from travelling and wanted to get to bed. All around, better than average on all accounts for me. Would clearly stay here again if occasion arises.

A little noisy from some inconsiderate neighbors but overall very good
