comfy king bed, climate control, good breakfast, including scrambled eggs.and oatmeal! pool was warm but too chlorinated for me...would definitely stay again!~

Pros: Close to airport
Free breakfast and nightly snacks. No restaurant on site for lunch or dinner but there were lots of options close. Friendly and helpful staff

It felt like home. Very comfortable and very friendly staff. The indoor heated pool and jacuzzi were wonderful! Breakfast had several options, even for this gluten-free eater!

Area around the Hotel seemed safe, a big concern of mine. Within Walking distance to two decent places to eat. Got in late to the airport, very glad that the hotel location was close and easy to get to from the airport. I noticed the hotel had a airport shuttle. Staff was professional, and answered all of my questions about good places to eat, etc. Nice pool, hot tub and fitness center. If I had been traveling with my family, it would have been a good place for them. Hot breakfast with several choices.

Pros: Perfectly situated for our needs: Minutes from the airport, clean and comfortable rooms, super-friendly staff, and a good buffet breakfast. Deal.
Cons: Nope, we're good here.
Location: Flint-Bishop International Airport, Genesis hospital
In town for emergency family business, and Wingate was an ideal place to rest and regroup during an extremely stressful time.

Will not stay here again

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Fix your a/c units - train your staff for customer service, answer the front desk/operator phones. clean the bathrooms.
Location: We could have easily stayed at another hotel to get to the events we were attending. Therefore, the location is not a reason to stay at this hotel.
We checked in for two nights. Upon arrival I asked the front dest clerk what the breakfast consisted of and if it was decent - all he said was, "well, it hasn't killed me yet".....The first night the room was right above the balcony of the lobby. It was very noisy, you could hear the elevator, people in the lobby, hallways, and the next morning you could hear the early risers eating in the breakfast area. I tried to call the front desk and the operator's number for at least 15 minutes and nobody would pick up the phone. I went out into the hallway; and I could hear the female worker talking in the back office - and there wasn't anyone at the desk at all. The bathroom wasn't that clean and there wasn't any kleenex. The a/c would not stay on....we had to keep getting up in the middle of the night to try and fix it. Therefore, it was stuffy and felt like there wasn't any oxygen in the room - so we did not get a very good night's sleep at all.....The next morning - after having to convince the three people that were visiting with each other and standing at the front desk - that we weren't happy with our room; we did get moved to another room the next day - which was better. The entire staff need customer service training. But, then; in actuality, we decided we need to stay at hotels that offer better rooms, at the same price, with better customer service. The online website is misleading as to the quality of the hotel.

I always love staying here. Rates are little high. I still return Every other month as I have to be in the city for meetings.
