Perfect stop before registering at the universtiy

The A Teatro was in the perfect spot for me when i arrived into Florence one day ahead of registration for my university term. Gianni was extremely nice and even reached out to me prior to my arrival. I would definately recommend this to my friends and family and will most likely stay here again.

Great location, helpful staff

We were delighted with our room which had a view over 'old' Florence. All the main sights were within 5 minutes and the staff we're extremely helpful.

The room was fantastic. Very large, clean, nicely decorated and had a fridge and small balcony. Only drawback is that the street is VERY loud until about 3:00 am EVERY night. If you are a light sleeper and noise bothers you, you shouldn't chose this hotel.

One night in the Teatro B&B

First of all the staff are wonderful! They could not have been nicer or more accommodating, both the owner and the assistant who helped with breakfast. Staying here depends on what you want. This is a small bed and breakfast in the center of Florence, excellent location, walking distance to everything! My main purpose for choosing it was proxmity to my daughter's apartment in Italy. It is more like a small, nice boutique hotel, rooms are large, bathroom large for Euopean standards and had a nice balcony with big ceiling to floor doors Cleanliness is always my main concern and this place is very clean, but quaint! I also felt safe because there was a gate, door downstairs, door into the area where the rooms are located and then a door to rooms, all requiring the key. I read other reviews and there is noise, but you are in the middle of Florence, Italy, not in a quiet suburban area ! I loved the streeet noise and the area. For many U.S. citizens who have never traveled abroad this may not be their choice, but for me it was perfect!
