Cons: Update the rooms
There wasn't anything surprising at this hotel. For the price, it was just what I expected. It was pretty clean, the breakfast was satisfactory, and the room looked a little worn out. If I needed to stay somewhere with a low budget, I'd stay there again.

Convenient to Lake Pickwick. But that's about it

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Room smelled bad, sheets weren't clean, bathroom and tub were dirty. Almost washed my hair with body lotion because there was no shampoo. One would assume that's what is laying on the tub next to the soap. NOT. Bed and pillow wasn't comfortable.

Place to Sleep, Nothing More

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: water pressure in shower
Cons: The whole hotel needs revamped and updated.
Location: Florence and Muscle Shoals has great places to eat. I recommend City Hardware.
A friend and I traveled to the Shoals/Florence area and I blind-booked my room. This was the hotel that was picked. I called the hotel staff as soon as I learned of the location and requested them to change my room to smoking preference, since I had no place on the form where I could request this online prior to booking. The lady was not very nice. She said that she had none available; that they go very fast. OK, no problem, I thought. I will just smoke outside. I arrived the next day and was surprised when I asked the lady behind the counter if she had smoking available. She said of course they did. I do not like the fact I was misinformed about this the day before. When I walked into the room, I noticed everything was very out of date. The sheets had stains, the bed was lumpy, the TV was a very old model that would not pick up a clear picture. I was afraid to touch it to try to fix the connection in fear I would be electrocuted. The breakfast consisted of one waffle machine and packaged honey buns that had expired. I ate the waffle without butter, because the didn't have any, and with a drop of syrup on it (all that was left in the bottle). I knew not to expect the Hilton, but this is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The only thing I can say I liked was the strong water pressure in the shower.

Not as advertised.

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: The staff was nice.
Cons: Well either bring the rooms up to match the pictures, or show the rooms as they really are.
Location: On a very busy and noisy street.
The on-line photo showed a bright, clean, newer looking room. Room was dark old curtains dirty door handles light switches. Holes in the comforter, burn holes couch. Tub, floor old dirty. I did not stay, because it was just awful.

Dirty room.tv remote didn't work, room was either super hot or freezing.bathroom was filthy. Beds were very old and uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and let me stay only one night out of my 2 night reservation.
