Staff is very friendlyPosted Nov 25, 2013
Perfect location in the center of most main attractions. Walking distance to train and bus stations. Beni and the front desk is very nice and helpful, she went above and beyond for us and is very knowledgable on Florence and surrounding cities. Do not plan to eat the breakfast, it's horrible.

Great value in the heart of FlorencePosted Nov 16, 2013
We wished we could stay in Florence longer. The hotel is hard to beat for location being just down the road from the basilica. We had a rental and felt the parking situation was excellent and valet service prompt and punctual. The room was clean and tidy in keeping with 3 star standards and everything worked just fine. Hotel staff were fantastic. Pretty good value here, would happily stay again and for longer...Florence is fantastic!

Good value in central locationPosted Nov 15, 2013
Friendly and helpful staff. Located smack in the middle of a busy street. Woken up by street cleaning lorries and bin men. That said location is fantastic. Room adequately clean and comfy. Free use of PC and printer a bonus. Breakfast reasonable. Good value.

It is an excellent hotel. Very central.Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: The staff, the breakfast, the easy going feeling.
Location: All the museums, places of interest is nearby. You're right there in the middle of everything.
You are in the middle of history. The hotel is situated in a very previleged place. The reception was excellent and the staff very helpfull and charming. The parking for the car is charged apart, by an independent firm. I thought it was a bit expensive 25 euros per night.

Pros: The location and the continental breakfast.
Location: Centrally located to all the tourist sites in Florence.
Great place to stay. Convenient to all the major sights. Hotel staff was outstanding! The day we checked out, they held our bags while we continued to see the sights of Florence, very accommodating.

Great location, don't recommend driving to itPosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location. That said, it was also clean and up to expectations
Cons: Maybe I didn't look enough, but might be beneficial to make it more apparent the challenges/solutions if you have a car.
Location: Middle of Florence, most of the main sites are well w/in walking distance.
Axial has an excellent location, it's on one of the main streets between the major sights. I had a rental car. To get to it you drive through a restricted zone and then down what I would consider a pedestrian mall. The hotel was very helpful, I called them to ensure driving in was ok, and then they talked me in the last few minutes because I didn't trust the navigation system. They work w/ a garage that handles the car for $25 euro's/night which I thought was quite reasonable. The hotel itself was what I needed. Things were a bit smaller than we are used to in America, but it's not in America. It was clean, the staff was very helpful, and it served the purpose well. It's in the middle of Florence, to me that means it's a place to sleep and clean up.

Great central Firenze locationPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
All rooms are on a single floor (1st), and the hotel is steps from the Duomo, which makes for a convenient central spot. Basic rooms, but very comfortable beds and very kind staff. Breakfast a bit simple, but good quality food. Wifi and printing are free, and the small size of the hotel makes for a very personal and lovely experience.
