“good hotel convenient to airport”

We selected the hotel solely on the fact that it was close to the airport for a very early morning departure from Florence. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and they sent us off in the morning with a breakfast since we left before normal breakfast hours. Other than it's location close to the airport there isn't much else to do or even good nearby restaurants.

“Clean room, and a nice restaurant”

My room was very clean and nicely appointed, although the bathroom was a little tight. There was a little more street noise than I would have liked, but not too bad. I was surprised to find the hotel restaurant was much nicer than I expected. The food in the restaurant was quite good and the wine list had a decent selection; much better than I would have expected for a hotel restaurant. For being in Florence, I thought the cost of the room was fairly reasonable.

“More than adequate and accessible”

A dated but most comfortable hotel with a great location, we found the Viva Alexander Novoli the perfect spot to stay a night before flying home. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, with large bathrooms. The staff spoke English and were very helpful, pointing out the nearby bus route/stop that provided easy and cheap transportation to and from downtown Florence for a great farewell dinner!

“Not bad hotel but far from center of city and all attractions”

Hotel rooms and specially bathroom is too small. I can not imagine how such a small bathroom can accomodate a big person... Rooms is clean. It is far from aany attractions, but very quite place.

“Good deal in Florence”

Kind of business hotel, but clean, not too expensive and well connected with the center via bus line 22, just outside of the hotel.

The hotel is fairly clean and tidy, and was easily accessable by road. The restaurant is OK if not inspiring, and breakfast is quite good. For a business trip, the accomodation was satisfactory, but for holiday purposes it would be much better to stay in the centre of town. Facilities are limited to the essentials and there is some traffic noise as the hotel is situated on a main road.

“Good business hotel”

This hotel is great if you need to stay close to the airport (about 3 minutes away) or if you need to park a car (they have free parking!). The area around the hotel really isn't what usually comes to mind when you think of staying in Florence. It's a serious cab ride to the touristy portion of Florence (e.g., Uffizi, David, Santa Maria Novella, etc.). On the other hand, it is much less expensive than the hotels in that area of town. My wife and I enjoyed staying here.

“Nice hotel, far from centre”

Room condition good, elevators old and scary, breakfast good, a bit far from centre, you need a bus or taxi to get there, if you have car though its great since it has parking available and only 10mins by car to city centre
