Close to rail station and downtown.Posted Nov 18, 2013
Clean room and within walking distance of major tourist sights. A bit difficult to find the first time. In the middle of an Italian neighbourhood and a great spot if you want to learn more about the culture. Room not fancy but well kept in a B & B within an apartment building.

Good place to stayPosted Oct 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was containing only 2 small beds (smaller than twin)...Breakfast was nominal, croissant and make your own coffee. Hotel was about 1 km from train station, opposite direction from center. People were kind, bathroom (shared) was clean. Not a bad location if you like to walk. I recommend San Iacobbino restaurant nearby.

Good budget bed and breakfast.Posted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: It is a decent bed and breakfast at a good price and the room we stayed in was clean, tidy with a big comfortable bed.
Location: It is a bit away from the center, but the street is quite and there are buses into the central station.
The owner turned up within 5min of calling. No complaints about the price or quality of the room.

Cassia was okayPosted Jul 18, 2013
Owner is not onsite so we had to find a local phone to call them to check you in. After a 15 minute wait outside, we were happy to relax in the only on-suite room so if you do not receive that room, there is a shared bathroom. Breakfast included was disappointing, as it was pre-packaged food in a basket and boxed drinks..hotel is close to bus and train ans comes at a good price for one night in Florence.

Not What We ExpectedPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
My best friend and I were staying at the B&B Cassia for two nights while stopping over in Florence. When we arrived there was no one at the location and there was a local number that was posted on the entrance door. In the even that no one was there we were supposed to call in order to check-in. Seeing as we did not have an international phone we had to wait outside the building until a tenant came out and allowed us to use their personal phone to get in contact with the B&B employee. She came to the B&B 15 minutes later to check us in. There was no lift so we had to carry our bags up two flights of stairs, the free wifi was unreliable and the "breakfast" was really just a basket of a handful of pre-packaged snacks. Coming from other wonderful B&B's all throughout Europe I found this one to be the most disappointing. The location was nice (about a 15 minute walk to the Duomo), the lady was friendly whenever she was around (which was never) and the place was clean. It was cheap so I was not totally miserable, but I could not have stayed there for more than a night or two. Good luck! Hope this review helps!

Good Value for MoneyPosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is in a good location, about 15 min walk from the train station. Room was spacious and modern and fine for a 1 night stay. Only complaint is that breakfast was a packaged pastry left in the room and some tea making facilities. Apart from that - all fine!

Close to rail stationPosted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not really a hotel but an apartment that has been turned into rooms. Clean, comfy bed! Close to the train station and easy to reach. Breakfast was basically a basket in your room of bread items. There was a tea kettle and cappuccino maker with a small fridge In the hall for all to use. The problem with this place was that you had to call the owners to meet you there. With lack of experience with European phones, this caused a BIG problem. Good value for your money!
