“Very comfortable hotel in excellent location - in historic part of Florence”

We were very happy with our choice of hotels in Florence. Our room was quiet, well furnished, modern bathroom (but no bath), and when requested we were given tea making facilities for the room. The staff were extremely helpful. We had difficulty sending a fax but they kept trying until it went off. Breakfast was plentiful but nothing hot, ie. Scrambled eggs, etc., was served. We were within approx 10-15 mins walk of the Ufizzi, Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo-good to walk off the fab food we found in the surrounding ristorantes. Only thing missing was, although the tv channels listed Eurosport, we couldn't get it and couldn't watch some of the US Open, a minute blip in an otherwise great stay in a good hotel. Our room also had a safe, one more way to protect your valuables which we always make use of.

“Very Impressed with Polihotels Palazzo Ognissanti !”

My wife and I recently came back from 4 days in Florence and stayed at the Polihotels Palazzo Ognissanti hotel. Our experience was great, very friendly hotel staff, very clean, very nice. Only gripes were that our room view was hampered by other buildings, but not a problem for us at all. Second gripe was the breakfast. It was good but eating 4 days of ham and salami etc, we did get fed up of it. We asked for eggs and the waitress said they don't serve any. Other than that the hotel is in a very good location, close to all attractions and only 10 mins walk to the main Square and Ufizi gallery. Thoroughly recommended and will stay there again if ever got back to Florence. S

“Fabulous Location”

For the price, this hotel was fabulous. It was very close to all the sites, the staff were exceptionally helpful and there is the most fabulous restruant I have been to in a long time diagnally across the street. The breakfast was okay, but a surprise was an afternoon snack option. If you are sensitive to sound you do not want to stay on the first floor. We liked the access but you definetly heard the street noise.

“A very nice place to stay in Florence”

Don't expect an American Best Western, but overall the hotel is very nice and clean. I stayed in 2 hotels in Florence, and this one was much closer to my standards than the second one, even though they were in similar price range. The staff is very friendly and professional and speak good English. The breakfast was tasty, and the service during breakfast was fast and efficient. The only minus is that the hotel is several blocks away from most places of interest (closer to the train station). In the morning I enjoyed the walk, but when I was returning back in the evening, I wished it was closer. Still would rather stay in this hotel, than in the hotel I spent my first night, though that one was right next to the Dome.

“Very convenient & plesant hotel in Florence”

Glad we chose the Palazzio Ognissanti. Very centrally located to everything. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and excellent buffet breakfast. Free wi-fi internet was appreciated. Front desk staff also recommended an excellent restaurant nearby wirh typical local dishes. 5-min easy walking to Central train station.

“A ten minute walk”

Great staff, nice room, small shower, quiet....street side room, a/c good, nice breakfast......near the Arno, but a ten minute walk to ufizzi.....good for close access to train station if taking day trips from Florence as your base city!
