“Great Hotel”

Loved this hotel - they had a great bar area that spilled outside to a courtyard. In the morning you could have brakfast in the same courtyard. Every employee that I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were a good size. Our room faced out to the main street but you couldn't hear the street noise and we were on the first floor. This hotel will be my first choice if I return to Florence. Another big plus is the hotel is about 2 blocks from the train station. We arrived and left via train so that made it very convenient.

“Great Hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel last November. It's very convenient - near to the station and within easy walk of the city centre. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Staff were helpful. Breakfast standard continental. We really loved it.

“One of the best in Florence”

A beautiful hotel with a wonderful full breakfast buffet which we ate in the garden area. The room was very spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff was very nice and helpful.

“Excellent Hotel”

Very friendly, helpful staff, nice room with a view of the courtyard. Bed linen changed each day. Bar prices not outrageous. Very handy for the bus/rail station and for all the major places of interest.

Hotel well maintanied and helpful friendly staff and the room provided was superb. Location of Hotel perfect for sightseeing in Florence with many of the attractions within walking distance and many good restaurants close by.

“Great place to stay in Florence”

Excellent value for money and great location. We had a large room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Good service, breakfast was excellent, typically continental but lots of choice with the option of made to order selection for just an additional 5 euros. We received a free 'welcome' drink - champagne which was lovely and no hidden charges! Nice touch! Very clean and comfortable toom. The restaurants that they recommend are very good and you get 10% off, one is just over the road opposite hotel. My only criticism is that there's no tea/coffee making facilities in room, however they do have a mini-bar and the prices are quite reasonable. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence. Loved it!

“Lovely friendly hotel, very central.”

Loved our long weekend here, hot-tub on a Saturday afternoon in February after a long day walking around..bliss!. Ask for room 216, it has a large terrace and overlooks the courtyard garden. Quite warm at night but we left the terrace doors open and imagined it was the summer. The pizzeria opposite the hotel is a must, very reasonably priced and wonderful pizzas and Florentino T-bone steaks. The staff could not be more friendlier, reception, guys wearing red jackets, cleaners, barman and waitress staff. We had clean towels and sheets everyday and even had our complimentary smellies topped up. We hope to return to Firenze in the near future and would definitley stay here again.

“Amazing Stay! Can't wait to go back!”

After worrying just slightly, we found that the location was just perfect for walking to all attractions, shopping, train station, and resturants. The staff was amazingly helpful, friendly, and extremely pleasant. The breakfast was very good and our overall impression was just fabulous!

“Perfect Mini Break”

As the parents of two young children, we were looking for the perfect mini break to celebrate a big birthday on our first trip away without the kids! And at the Best Western Hotel Rivoli in Florence we definitely got that! The hotel was very easy to get to and find from the airport, and in a great location for exploring Florence by foot. The room was comfortable and quiet with a lovely view over the courtyard and hot tub. The hot tub was fantastic, even in December, especially to ease aching legs after spending the day walking up 500 steps to the top of the dome! Breakfast was a good selection of continental style breads and pastries, cheeses, ham, fruit, yoghurt as well as eggs, bacon etc. The bar/ lounge area was lovely and comfortable and great for having a drink. There is also internet access in the bar which is reasonably priced. The only 2 less positive comments that I could make are that there wasn't a bath in the room, just a shower, which wasn't an issue for us, and I am sure we would have been offered an alternative room if we'd asked. There was also no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, although they are available on request. The staff were friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. They were more than happy to help us with any queries and have a variety of things to borrow if needed. I couldn't recommend this hotel any higher and will definitely go there again if we go back to Florence!
