Wonderful buffet breakfast on the rooftop terrace starts the day on a high note before setting out on foot to see all of the major attractions of Florence, a superbly preserved renaissance city of art, architecture and style. Everyone at the hotel was attentive and helpful and spoke English fluently. The views were spectacular and the rooms very comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is in one of the oldest buildings in Florence dating to the 15th century.

spent ages researching and definately made the right choice. The staff are SO helpful, lots of local info, will book a restaurant table, tickets, taxis etc. NOTHING is too much trouble.
The lofts and whole atmosphere is so beautiful, classy, super chic and cool but very friendly and welcoming. A real treat on the eyes when you first arrive! The breakfast was lovely, simple but nice and they seem to get EVERY detail right. I'm very fussy when it comes to accomodation and the vibe and atmosphere of a hotel/accomodation. Honestly, I cannot imagine you would have anything to be unhappy about. Will definatey stay there when we revisit Florence in the future.
BTW, this is my first EVER review but I was so impressed that I felt hard work and dedication in to making it such a lovely experience deserves much praise!

The hotel is in a perfect location from the train station and bus station and a few blocks from the center of Florence. The hotel is lovely place to stay because the rooms offer a quiet place with comfortable beds. You also have access to the rooftop to watch the sun go down. The morning breakfast is located in a room of elegance filled with beautiful furnishings. The breakfast was amazing from the fresh veggie juice extracted and blended with delicious fruits to the take away cookies which were gluten free. You can't go wrong with anything they serve!! Let's not forget the Italian cheese such as fresh ricotta, so creamy and delicious! The room comfort breakfast and location makes this so worth the splurge!!

We stayed at the Hotel Regency for 2 nights. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The bathroom is on the small side but the shower was very large. Our room faced the street and it was very quiet at night. We had breakfast in the dining area and it was very good, eggs, meat, croissants, cheeses and fresh fruit, and cappuccino. Everything was first class. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They booked dinner reservations, tour guides and taxis upon requests. We also emailed them ahead of time and they responded very quickly. We never ate dinner in their restaurant so I can't comment on that. The hotel really captured the quaintness of Florence being located close to many attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
