“Great location and historic hotel in Florence”

This was a great location and hotel for our one-night stay in Florence. Located right along the river close to the historic centre, we were able to walk to all the sites. The hotel was very charming and full of character. Our upgraded room was very large and comfortable for the three of us, with antique furniture, frescoed ceilings, and a modern bathroom. The staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

“Great location and character”

Great location by river and most places within short walking distance. Wonderful deco in reception rooms and breakfast area. Redecoration in progress but didn't cause any inconvenience. Friendly & helpful staff Only one gripe. Our room (#29) was round the back of the hotel looking onto an internal courtyard. There was an unpleasant smell (drains?) at certain times of the day.
