Nice place to stayPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff very helpful with maps and getting around Florence. Hotel was once a big house and has been converted, pretty cool walking around it. Clean rooms and bathroom, location could be better but the bus stops aren't far away and isn't too bad to walk to the attractions if you're saving money. Payment didn't go through hotels.com though so I got charged more than advertised.

nice for tourists and visitors to the EUIPosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is essentially a refurbished private villa with a set of rooms which are simple and clean. Nice staff with VERY little knowledge of English - but the communication is possible. Location is fine, the price reflects that - medium to low rates. No breakfast and no refrigerator in the room... it is a problem, however there is a local (outdoor) market with fresh fruit and vegetable vendors, at the LeCure "Piazza" -ca. 150-200m. The EUI is 20-25 mins. walk (via Faentina). If you are in Florence for a brief amount of time and don't have any particular expectations on the hotel you stay at, this is the spot... my overall rating is 2,5 out of 5.
